Driving appx 36 km from Kolkata, On the banks of the river Ganges a sprawling villa amidst the beauty of nature stands, to welcome you for a perfect home stay. The Grandeurous Villa shines bright even in the night. The beautifully lit bungalow, the sound of the rivulet and flying crickets in the manicured garden with flowers and dangling fruits gives you a heavenly tranquility. Deliciously cooked food and homely taste of it makes the stay an absolute rejoice. The staffs are very polite and always at help. The view from the rooms with glass facade are a delite to view the beauty of nature, pool and Ganges. Mrs Dutta, the owner of the property talking with her was an absolute delight, her enriching knowledge on diverse topics on India to across globe, gardening, cooking, designing, architecture, etc. From the busy schedules of ebb and flow Anchor yourself at Nongore Reasonable Priced, charge per head includes staying with lunch, dinner and breakfast. How to reach via public transport: Total time Appx 2.5 hrs from Kolkata Board Bus no 75 from Babughat, (Esplanade) to Raypur terminal. (You can also board any Raypur, Nodakhali bound bus via Bakrahat Road from Thakurpukur, Kolkata) Reaching Raypur, from there take an Burul bound Auto, to Bahirkunja, Nodakhali, it is 3 km distance from Raypur. Nearby places to visit: 1. A ferry service from Raypur ferry ghat to Kathakalitala 2. Launch service to 58gate from Burul 3. Kali Mandir

Reviewed By Anish PPlace was verry good and we enjoyed verry Welly Nice arrangement of cooking and folding. And the most excellent think was there were a big tiger and elephants which was so dangerous and beautiful.also the park was good and some birds,animal was there that was soo good..

Reviewed By Scenic552433It has been a great time and highly satisfied journey at chowburu homestay. Owner sujit da and family just hats off, and also arjun da. Its is located very close to nature and fully surrounded by hill.you can see lot of birds there.foods are also good and last but not the least all staff behavior is excellent.

Serene and relaxing stay
Reviewed By mahanama_srVisited there with my family and was surprised by the kind of service we got. This place is inside Neora Valley forest and the view of Kanchenjunga from the balcony was mind blowing. The variety of wildlife here is something which makes this place unique. Different kinds of birds and animals are seen here.

Very poor experience, its still under development
Reviewed By rajeshc822Poor hotel with minimum facility. Staff is not so polite and neither helpful. Rooms are spacious but heater facility not available. Bathrooms were not giving regular hot water. So if you are travelling in cold weather avoid booking this hotel. Though outside view and food was good. But i will not recommend this hotel.
