Highly disappointed and Not recommended for the events and functions
Reviewed By 38eshanpThis is regarding the event held on 02nd April 2022 at Villa Crystals Malabe (Out door -pool side). The event was originally scheduled to carry out from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. However, due to the sudden imposition of an island wide curfew at 4.00pm we have taken time to discuss with the police, hotel and the participants for the event's continuity. Further, there was a considerable traffic jam in Colombo suburbs. On this background we couldn’t commence the event as originally scheduled and the event was held from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm. However, it is regret to inform that we have been charged an additional LKR 7500 for the extra half an hour for the outdoor event. Please note that we have not cancelled and continued the event even under curfew period with a low number of participants to avoid disputes between the hotel & the management (35 heads participated and the full payment was done for 50 numbers to the hotel). On this grounds, it is really disappointing that the hotel management did not even consider the unavoidable circumstance that occurred on that day and charged an additional amount for the extra 30 minutes. Further, the manager refused to give the contact number of the owner to lodge a complaint. We have worked with several star class hotels and this kind of work to rule procedure was not observed in any of them. Even though it was mentioned about additional charges for the time period beyond 4 hours in their menu card, they have not notified over running of time. If this is the scenario for a curfew day, it would be unimagined how they implement their conditions for a normal day. Further, it was observed that even in the organizing period, the staff was very strict about their policies and no any reasonable flexibility from them. So, anyone planning to have an event in this location is requested to keep this in mind that it will be very difficult to work with them. HIGHLY DISAPOINTED & NOT RECOMMENDED.

Amazing stay at this Villa.
Reviewed By jacktruelove1Spent my final week of my Sri Lankan adventure at this beautiful Villa just outside Colombo. Greeted by the most amazing hosts the villa had everything we needed. As we were the only family in the villa we had Reni (Housekeeper) looking after us and he wouldn’t let us lift a finger all week, he does EVERYTHING! From breakfast to laundry he has the whole lot covered. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing get away in Sri Lanka.

Lovely couple and beautiful place.
Reviewed By Rafael OI stayed 2 nights and I was delighted. They speak perfect English and they are super helpful and kind. The place is very clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast, though! I recommend 100%, can't miss it!
