It’s the most beautiful resort, surrounded by nature, the best food ever and the friendliest staff. the gorgeous pool with stunning views was such a treat. we also did yoga classes at the pool and had a number of spa treatments. have to also mention the Balinese barbecue, with live entertainment and dancing. if you are wanting to relax and embrace nature and life, this is it! we loved every moment at the resort and wish we could stay longer!

Reviewed By DionWidiaNever know about this resort. Yet I was intrigued by the given pictures. With a very reasonable price, I booked the hotel and I was right. I stay 3 nights and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the back of the hotel. Very quiet surroundings, a perfect place for calming yourself.

Reviewed By Minaldo88We have been to Bali numerous times Pre- pandemic over many years and have stayed in 5 star resorts like Amandari, Bulgari resort etc too. Hoshinoya Bali is wonderful if you intend to stay in Ubud. The architecture was amazing. A lot of thought and attention to detail have been put to the whole property. We love the Japanese influenced architecture, the high quality of furnishings, the space, the size.. everything. If you’re a creative or simply appreciate aesthetically pleasing places, this is it. The resort is fairly new and very well-maintained. Food is good - Tasty and high quality enough for hotel fare. It’s better than expected as we are very particular about food. Only issue is the pool can be bigger and water is a tad murky. They do have a guy cleaning up leaves from the pool frequently. Great service from staff and you can tell the GM of the resort is very on the ball and attentive. Will definitely 300% be returning back to Hoshinoya Bali.

Reviewed By mariadI118PAI had to cancel 6 of an 8 night stay due to the Corona virus (unrefundable, booked through hotels.com) so they upgraded me to the best room and provided breakfast. The in house massage was one of the best I’ve had in bali (I lived here for 4 years and have had hundreds of massages) and the staff literally bent over backwards to help in every way possible. Rooms are new, clean, very comfortable, the shower has very strong pressure (hard to find in Bali) - I was so sad to leave - will definitely be coming back next year - 10star rating ???

Beautiful location
Reviewed By valeriel418We loved everything about this hotel. After spending time at Seminyak it was lovely to come somewhere peaceful. Away from the very busy centre of Ubud but they run a shuttle bus into town. We walked round the rice fields that surrounds the hotel, walked around the villages and mingles with some locals. If you want to see the real Bali go here. Staff were very helpful, especially Budi in the restaurant. Only negative was they kept forgetting to leave tea bags in the room.
