Reviewed By SpiritualerIt is complete 1 day tour full of activities for kids above 5 years of age. Food is OK if you want to eat desi , Good if you haven't eaten bazare ki roti freshly prepared. Kids will love the place, a lot of activity for them. But if your visiting date gets clashed with school trip days , then it is going to be a tough day to get your turn for any activity.

Reviewed By PreetiHarishGreat hospitality extended by Mr and Mrs joginder Singh ji..must visit place for urbanites devoid of village charm.we went with our family and friends .kids enjoyed lake playing around in the open ,we saw the entire process of making jaggery right from the sugarcane farms ,to processing of juice and ultimately into jaggery..kids enjoyed pottery making and playing in hay.

Wonderful get away from it all walking holiday
Reviewed By KilntravelersWe were staying at the West Sikkim Shakti houses. We started our trip at Bagdogra and were met by the friendly efficient and wonderful Pugan from Shakti. He was a delight to spend the next five days with. Always attentive and chatty and informative. Our first house was at Radha Kandu. We were fortunate to have clear weather and the views were simply stunning. The staff at the houses were all brilliant, especially Yogesh. We had a taster walk on the first afternoon around the immediate area and then on day two we set off on a 16kms fairly tough walk with quite a bit of ups and downs!! It could not have been more worth it. The scenery was to die for and Pugan’s explanations of everything was excellent including all the plants, flowers and trees etc. The second house was Hee House with its tremendous views of Kanchenjunga direct from our bed! Sadly the mountain was hiding early the next morning but Pugan still got up at 5:30am just to check. We then headed off to the house at Hatti Dunga for two nights with slightly easier walking and a trip to the monastery at Rinchempong where we were able to see the young trainee monks pray. We were alone in each house - each house is for your use only. The houses are beautifully decorated with huge beds and log burners in the rooms and wonderful showers in the bathrooms with plentiful hot water. The food is truly delicious and on returning each afternoon we were given a freshly squeezed juice or smoothie. We had a couple of lunchtime picnics which were equally delicious. In summary, having done quite a few hols in India this was totally different and an amazing experience. If you are reading this deciding whether to visit do it. You’ll be delighted. The only thing you must take is a head torch!

Reviewed By nitin mThe property is quite scenic and spacious but the rooms are badly maintained. There is nothing to do around the resort. You can click some nice photos and spend some time away from the mad crowd. The place is very peaceful. But maintenance needs improvement
