This was my third visit and I thought I write a review because the place is unique in terms of the diversity of species. The size of the Zoo is 200sqm and there is still enough places to sit down, have a coffee and watch the reptiles to interact with each other. There are other animals, such as amphibians, mammals and a selection of birds. The parrot, Coco is freely hopping on the branches above my head while I am sipping my delicious coffee provided by there for a very reasonable price. The entrance fee is also low, given the value, I get out of a three-hours-visit. I discover new species on each visit! Perhaps because there are so much to see, or some animals happened to be active this time and they are fed in front of my eyes. So if you like animals or you have a family it is the best place in town for entertainment. Strongly recommended!

Tiergarten Nuremberg is set in an extraordinary and unique landscape. By taking a walk through the large, densely wooded park the visitors discover open-air enclosures skilfully fitted into the red sandstone of the region. Watch dolphins and sea lions swim and play in the open air at the Dolphin Lagoon. Explore life at the Amazon, complete with rainfall periods, at the Manatee House. Go to the Blue Saloon with its vast panorama windows and experience the fascinating underwater world of both manatees and dolphins. Children will love the Kinderzoo, where they can pet animals and discover a lot more...
We had a lovely visit here on Boxing Day with our 2 year old daughter. So many of the animals have inside enclosures and the whole zoo is in a huge woodland with gorgeous walks between the large exhibits. We couldn’t believe how close we could get to some of the animals without glass between us (giraffes and rhinos in particular). The Manatees are also amazing. Highly recommended and they are open every day of the year!

Experience portrayals and narratives of the Grimm brother's most famous fairy tales, situated beautifully in the woods between Schongau and Peiting. You'll find various animals in the park, goats, sheep, nandus, deers and ponies that can be reached on a round tour. Playgrounds, rich in variety for every age, our adventure forest, a leisure lawn with sun beds, pony riding services and a generous food and drink area complete the offering. The ideal destination for a family day trip if you're based in Munich, Swabia, Upper Bavaria or the Allgau!

The Wildpark is a lovely place to visit for an afternoon. The animals are lively and the park so natural. The highlight though was our extra package which we booked for the evening "Heulen mit den Wölfen" getting the wolves to howl at night. It was amazing to experience the park in the dark at night when all the guests have left. The information we received about the wolves and their habits was great and we were all amazed by the howling! Brilliant. Would highly recommend.
