Our group (7) thoroughly enjoyed our private well organized first time tour of Slovenia. Too many nice things to say about our guide. She provided a wealth of knowledge about the country, the wines, history and culture. Visiting with some of her personal friends running family vineyards was truly very special. All the advanced planning allowed us to stay at some particularly picturesque and hospitable small lodges and family run places. Float trip inside the caves, hikes in the mountains, nature walks, power assisted biking up and down a mountain, all helped to compliment our frequent stops at special wineries and restaurants. The country was the cleanest we saw and the people the friendliest in our 7 country European vacation. We highly recommend our guide and her coordinated planning of our tour. We will always have wonderful memories of this visit and the friends we made.

The idea behind this project was to elevate tourism in Velenje to a higher level, namely to create a memorable, 5 star experience for turists. This goes hand in hand with the vision of the tourist destination Slovenia… Slovenia as a green boutique global destination for high-end visitors seeking diverse and active experiences, peace, and personal benefits.
