With all the modern facilities and a beautiful view of the Matanzas bay, located in the residential neighborhood Playa, in the beach area, where the sound of the sea will join you during your stay. The villa has two rooms with separate entrances, one in the upper floor with a terrace looking over the Matanzas bay, and another in ground floor with garden and sea view.

Reviewed By MarktoywompaWonderful property located just minutes outside of the main city area - but don't worry. It's closer to everything you'd want to do in Matanzas anyway. And Fernando speaks incredibly fluent English and was super helpful in helping guide us and arrange things as needed. Rooms had fully equipped fridges, and AC was perfect. Also internet access, which is a rarity in the area. We could have easily stayed on the property the whole time, enjoying the views of the ocean and lounging in the pool - but of course we forced ourselves out and about. Walking distance from the best nightlife in the city, and a short drive to Rio Canimar National Park where you can rent a boat and cruise the river for a day. Great restaurant (El Bukan) located behind it, and just a couple of blocks from one of the best meals we had in Cuba - Amelia Del Mar. If you're in Matanzas, stay here.

Perfect stay in Vinales
Reviewed By PalaceLuganoThis Casa is in a very strategic position, with a beautiful view on the valley and very close to the Main Street where all restaurants are. Mildre and her husband have been very welcoming, super helpful with all we needed during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, freshly home made and extremely well presented, on the beautiful terrace. We also had the chance to taste a delicious dinner that Mildre prepared for us, it was much better then the restaurants around. Super recommended on all fronts.

Friendly, comfortable place to stay in beautiful Las Terrazas
Reviewed By pmicallef1976Villa Maida is one of only a couple of casa particulares inside Las Terrazas so is ideally suited for visitors not staying at Hotel Moka or those looking for a more authentic stay. As of Jan 2022, the hotel was still on the prohibited list to US visitors so we found Villa Maida a great alternative It's just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Las Terrazas and you can hike from the villa directly. The room is basic but clean. During our stay AC wasn't on but there are units in the rooms. Beds were comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful and provided amazing breakfasts and dinners at good value. Maida speaks good English and helped with excursions and onward travel. We enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed By martinakoenDit was onze eerste Casa in Cuba, we werden hartelijk ontvangen door Luis. Hij gaf ons tips mee en sprak zeer goed Engels. Ook later was hij goed te bereiken en stond altijd klaar om onze vragen te beantwoorden. Onze eerste avond kwamen wij laat aan maar er is een heel fijn restaurant verder op de straat waar we lekker gegeten hebben. De volgende ochtend hadden we een heerlijk ontbijt gehad van Eddy. Deze casa is erg ruim, goede airco, nette badkamer en wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad.

Hostal La Francisca Trinidad se encuentra ubicada en la calle Jesus Maria, muy centrica y proxima a las principales cremerias, mercaditos y tiendas de la ciudad. A solo 180 m de la Plaza Mayor y de las atracciones turisticas que se concentran alrededor de esta plaza (tiendas de souvenirs, artesania y arte, pizzerias, locales nocturnos, museos, calles y rinconcitos coloniales, bares y restaurantes…). El Hostal La Francisca Trinidad es una casa muy acogedora, totalmente restaurada y mejorada en estilo rustico colonial.

Reviewed By hernoorgWe stayed for 2 nights here and it was one of the best Casas we stayed in throughout our 2 weeks in Cuba. Cannot fault this place at all. Our rooms were impeccably clean and the entire casa was decorated so beautifully. Our delicious breakfast was fresh and homemade by the lovely couple and served on a beautiful terrace. The casa is located within walking distance to the main square so a great location to stay. .The couple were so kind, friendly and helpful and even organised a bike ride for us. They were so accommodating and even gave us departing gifts made by one of the owners, Carlos. If we are ever in Trinidad again, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you Ismelas and Carlos for a wonderful and memorable stay!
