Reviewed By Thomas NSchüsselempfang aus Schlüsselkasten mit Pin, keine Rezeption, Frühstück nebenan an der Tankstelle. Alles hat geklappt und das Frühstück war gut. Bezahlung vor Ort bei einer freundlichen und kompetenten Dame. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, Betten gut und Matratzen nicht durchgelegen. Auf der Durchreise sehr empfehlenswert. Ach ja, ein großer Kühlschrank war auch auf dem Zimmer.

Reviewed By Tiemen FWe have stayed three times in this guesthouse with joy. The rooms are spacious, quiet and fully equipped. The food is excellent and has a lot of healthy options. It is close to France, has lots of walking options and is an excellent place to come at rest. The personnel is friendly and makes you at home. We can't find any negative points... It even has a swimming pool, health services and a spa!

Reviewed By gezelligsamenwegHet is een mooi authentiek pand dat hier en daar wat onderhoud kan gebruiken. Schoon en goed verzorgd. Gastvrij ontvangst en goed ontbijt. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor het pand. Leuk plein op loopafstand.

Cosy, out-of-the-way Saarland get-away
Reviewed By Tom LAs other reviewers have noted, the rooms are very modern and clean (mid-2019), and the staff/family running the place are very friendly, plus it's attached to a great Greek restaurant (do reserve a table; on the Saturday evening that we were there, we were glad we'd made booked seats when checking-in to the hotel, as it was full at 7 p.m. and we saw spontaneous visitors being turned away). We only stayed 1 night, but it's a place that can easily be a base for a longer visit; we didn't get a chance to look ourselves, but the map indicates that a hiking trail or two starts in the forest just across the state road in front of the hotel. (Checking their website just now, I see they actually offer 4-hour guided hikes along trails in the area) Two things to beware of: if arriving from the south (i.e. heading northeast from nearby Rohrbach or the Kirkel-Neuhäusel district toward Kirkel proper), the map and also our GPS/navigator incorrectly indicated that the little parallel street where the hotel is located is a sort of half arc; that isn't true, as the middle of the "arc" is a farmyard, so way to reach the hotel is the little street portion directly in front of it (i.e., the northern access to the "arc"). Second, when arriving for check-in, look into the restaurant first to see if they can handle you there; while there's a reception desk on the upper floor that can be reached via steps on the outside of the building, it was unstaffed.

Very pleasant surprise
Reviewed By patrickeP5066WWModest looking exterior. Inside is a different story though. Brand new interior with clean, modern and cosy rooms. Great bathroom. Very quiet. Very friendly and helpful owner. Elaborate breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

Top moderne Einrichtung mit Charme
Reviewed By joec388Wir sind angenehm überrascht. Sehr schön und farblich super eingerichtete Zimmer. Auch das Badzimmer großzügig und geräumig. Auch hier wurde der farbliche Touch dem Zimmer angepasst. Der Speisesaal ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus, oder in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeber sind echt nette Leute. Wir können dieses Appartmenhotel wärmstens empfehlen. Besten Dank. Wir kommen in jedem Fall gerne wieder.

Kort intermezzo
Reviewed By jan sEen beetje ten einde raad vonden deze locatie. Het is een soort oud schoolgebouw midden in een klein rustig stadje. De eigenaar ontving ons vriendelijk, en zorgde meteen voor een parkeerplek voor de motor, ondanks dat hij stond te koken. De kamers liggen op de tweede verdieping en zijn keurig ingericht. Ze zijn gesitueerd direct onder het dak en hebben een gied ventilerend dakraam en een ventilator. Het diner had een goede kwaliteit/prijsverhouding.
