Large rooms, very clean
Reviewed By 1760022Soumeian is located about a 12 minute walk from the center of Kusatsu (Yubatake). With just 4 rooms, it is quite cozy and a relaxing place to stay. The Western/Japanese rooms are quite large. My wife and I stayed in room 1, which has a bathroom and separate washlet toilet, and my daughter, husband a child were in room 2, which has no bathroom. We didn't use the bath anyway since there are two onsen baths on the first floor that can be used anytime from check in to 9am the next morning (check out is 11). The bath water is quite hot but there is a cold water tap to cool the water. The rooms and public areas are well maintained and very clean. Our first morning breakfast was Japanese, and the second, Western. Both were quite good. The owner is very friendly although language may be a problem if one doesn't speak Japanese or Korean. My son-in-law managed with sign language. The only reason to give 4 stars and not 5, is that our room was not serviced during our stay. There were spare towels in the room but we had to request the second day amenities, and make the beds up (which was simple since just a duvet). All-in-all it was a very enjoyable stay and the cost quite reasonable (Go To Travel helped in this respect)

Reviewed By 修平 余お正月休みに利用させていただきました。 広い敷地の中に建てられた別棟を家族で占領です。 もうそれだけで感動なのですが、和のテイストを大切にしつつ最新の技術と設備で作られた空間は正月寒波の冷え込みを全く感じない快適さでさらに感動です。 オーナー自らが建築にあたった宿で、快適さだけでなく個々の部屋には鍵がかかるというプライバシーへの配慮も万全です。 トイレ、洗面所は広く複数用意されていて大人数で訪れてもストレスなく使えるようになっています。もちろんウォッシュレットもあって快適です。 オーナー夫妻は綺麗好きなのでしょう、室内はすべて掃除が行き届いていてアレルギー持ちの私と子供も安心して過ごせました。 食事は土地の食材を利用したメニューで量質ともに十分すぎるくらいです。 地元の良質のお米と井戸水で炊いたご飯はそれだけでもいくらでも食べられそうなほどでした。 また事前に打ち合わせをすれば好みやアレルギーなどにも対応してくれます。 歩けるような近くには大きな観光施設はありませんが、美しい農村風景や飯高檀林はなかなかの見所でした。 中世から明治初期まで多くの学僧たちが通った飯高檀林は、山林の中にいくつかの建物と小道を残すのみとなった今なお当時の雰囲気を残しています。 今回は時間の都合もありまわれませんでしたが、付近には他にも古寺や神社があるので次回は一日かけてのハイキングも良いかなと思っています。 帰りには佐倉の歴史民俗博物館を見学でき、とても充実した旅行になりました。 またお世話になりたい宿です。 ありがとうございました。

Reviewed By Jet805232民家を改装してB&Bとされています。 プライバシーがきちんと保たれるように工夫されていて、和室のお布団もふかふか。 オーナーさん達もとても親切で居心地良く過ごせます。 朝ご飯がとても美味しい！ 材木座海岸に朝お散歩しましたが、富士山が大きく見えました。 鎌倉観光におすすめです。 海外の方にも、日本の家屋を体験していただけるのでおすすめです。

海まで50ｍ、Ocean View。波音や海風は間近に感じ、大きな海と高い空、夜は星空と上空を通過するたくさんの飛行機の明かりが見えます。 全室バストイレ付、Wi-fiは無料で利用できます。部屋のタイプにより１室1名様から４名様まで利用できます。ソファ、テーブル、（PC・カウンターテーブル一部ルーム）がレイアウトされています。 Wi-fi環境も完備。部屋の周辺には建物が少なく季節の色が目につきます。また野鳥や虫の鳴き声、風の音が伝わりとても静かな海辺の環境ですので癒されると思います。
サーファーには最高！南房総旅行でもオーナーの人柄で良い旅になります。
Reviewed By jidaisho1193サーフィンで素泊まりで宿泊。ポイント目の前で温水シャワー付き、部屋からもポイントチェックでき最高な環境でした。 海上がりには中にはの温水シャワーに直行し、休んでまた入れます。１Fにはショップ併設なので忘れものがあっても安心ですし、レンタルもできます。 チャンネルアイランド好きにはたまらなく良い宿だと思います。 部屋もきれいでロフトも、遊び心をくすぐる作りになってたので4人くらいまでなら最高に過ごせます。次回はぜひ食事つきのプランで行ってみたいです。

A super cozy home style ryokan
Reviewed By Roni KThis was our last stay in rural setting before heading out of Japan and it offered many unexpected surprises that we hadn't encountered in other ryokans. What made this stay special was the warmth we felt from the host Kutzimada-San and his wife who made us feel like we were family guests staying in their home. So much so that we went out together to dinner at an exceptional sashimi restaurant (Ikaya) owned by a chef friend of theirs - a fantastic night out. The accommodation is comfortable though not dressed to impress. The slightly shabby lounge/ dining area is reflective of the relaxed nature of the owners rather than neglect. There is an awesome massage recliner which is free, and we were able to use the dining space and facilities to make and eat breakfast. Onsen was great and accessible any time. As this place is not all that well known among travelers, we were the only guests for the first 2 nights, so we felt we had the whole building to ourselves. A handful of Japanese guests joined on Xmas eve but the place still felt very uncrowded. The location is up in the hills about 25 min drive from Hakone-Yumoto station. We had a car so weren't concerned about being further out. In fact grew to love the surrounding area. There's a cool hub approx 5 min walk away with about 5-6 restaurants, coin laundry, and 2 great large supermarkets. Also very close are the glass museum and little prince museum. There is a bus that passes just outside which would provide transport to other spots in the area. Thank you Kutzumada-San for your generous warm hospitality!!

Reviewed By aroisomutum貸切でこれだけの温泉につかれた事、久しぶりに心踊っていました。 確かに建物、設備は古いのですが、良く清掃もされており、わたし的には昭和の面影を感じられ居心地いい宿でした。 この度はありがとうございました。

Reviewed By trnmnwndrgrls最寄り駅から徒歩5分以内の場所にあるペンションです。ランチでレストランだけ利用しました。セットメニューが8種類ほどありました。豚ロースのピリ辛照り焼き定食は1,050円、天ぷらうどんは880円でした。ボリュームもあり、おいしかったです。照り焼き定食の方は、私にはやや濃いめの味付けでした。
