Not so comfortable or helpful
Reviewed By SimplecolinjamesStrange to see this place getting mostly good reviews because our experience was not great. Sure it’s a great location and being Japanese it’s clean. But that’s all the positives· Our “apartment” had two single mattresses and two single beds crammed into one room. Yes, it sleeps four technically but it’s not relaxed to be so crowded together. The mattresses on the floor were very thin, so I felt like I was trying to sleep on concrete! The duvets were short and made even shorter by the weird sheets fitted around them so my feet were sticking out. All of that amounted to two bad nights’ sleep. The host, who smelled strongly of alclogol when we arrived, seemed confused about how to operate the heating — after a few false starts he eventually showed us how to turn on the heating but not how to turn it off. Later he misinformed us about the ferry timetable (while maintaining there was no need to phone and check). As a result we missed the last direct ferry to Teshima, nearly got stranded on Naoshima and actually had to take a much longer route to Teshima via Uno. Finally he was inflexible about breakfast time. We asked for 9 because we were tired after a long journey. We were told that was too early, why not 8? We agreed to have it at 830. It came at 815. Not a big deal but why ask if there is no real choice?

Nice clean and romantic
Reviewed By ShukileSuper clean. Huge room with tatami sitting area in the room in addition to the common living-room. Shared bathroom and toilet. And the view is worth it all! The only downside is that the shower is downstairs and a bit on comfortable to walk through the entire house on the way to get a bath. But the hosts are very kind and we had a nice romantic evening.

Simple but sweet
Reviewed By Kayo TSituated right on the waterfront and near many shops and restaurants (including yummy Shodoshima Ramen Hishio just a few steps away)! The rooms are simple... shared bath and toilets but the location is great and the couple and grandma who run the place try their best to make your stay comfortable.

Reviewed By Serge EMalgré un gérant propriétaire qui ne parle pas un mot d'anglais, l'hébergement est parmi ce qui se fait de mieux. Bien placé sur l'île avec un excellent restaurant à deux pas, des vélos mis à disposition gratuitement, il propose une grande pièce principale avec 2 lits confortables, tv, climatisation, micro ondes, grilloir. Un wc séparé, une salle de bain douche baignoire dans le standard japonais. Tout est en bois, lumineux et deux fenêtres qui donnent dans la rue avec moustiquaire. En zone commune deux machines à laver et étendoir à linge à l'extérieur. Seul défaut et c'est rageant, l'absence de couteau, cuillère car on trouve également la bouilloire avec thé et café instantané et un frigo. Sinon c'est tres calme la nuit et la journée. Bref le must.

離土庄港很近的便宜民宿
Reviewed By bigvoyageur為了要離土庄港近，我找到了這家便宜的民宿。其實這家民宿就是陽子居酒屋，看來是餐廳後面與二樓的房間騰出來當民宿。找到陽子居酒屋後順著右邊的巷子走到房子的側門，才會看到小小的旅館招牌。按了門鈴後，來接待的老闆娘竟然是中國人，聽到我是台灣來的，很開心用國語就聊起來。她讓我選二樓或一樓的房間，我選擇一樓因為比較靠近公用的衛浴。房間是傳統的tatami，但是有一張行軍床，門是傳統的拉門，可以從裡面上鎖，但是出去時無法從外面上鎖。不過日本治安很好，只要貴重金錢護照等帶在身上，行李放沒上鎖的房間也還好。整體來說，是很簡單的住宿，但是地點跟價錢都很合理，老闆娘也很熱情。我晚上去小豆島的大眾溫泉泡澡，所以也沒有用到旅館的衛浴（就是很家庭式的衛浴）。隔天一早為了搭船，七點多就出門了，老闆娘也沒有給我鑰匙，因為前晚十點多回來後門都還沒上鎖，就是一個這樣隨性的民宿。

朝食が美味しかった
Reviewed By riohalhallo宿泊は普通のアパート一室。写真の通り。テレビエアコンついてるので問題なし。トイレの度に下に鍵かけていくのは多少面倒でした。海外観光客が多く、2階にスーツケースはキツそう。海外のかたは一階になるべくしてたみたいだけど。 お風呂は湯船ありとシャワーのみのものあります。女性と男性わかれてます。シャンプーなどもあり、部屋からタオル持参です。鏡ないので、手鏡持参のがよいかも。部屋には小さな鏡があります。 朝食は別料金で近くのイタリアン レガロ。 ここはとても美味しくミネストローネおかわりしました。 バス亭は目の前ですが、民営は本数少ないのでアクセスは不便。 でも安いので、バックパッカーとかおすすめです。

Cat Ryokan!
Reviewed By LilmovesThis is an absolutely delightful Ryokan right alongside the river on the path to the temple. Our hosts are welcoming and friendly, as is the feline hostess Coco. There is a very obvious cat theme here, with puss motif all through the foyer area. Papa-san is the chef, and he went to great lengths to cater for my food allergies. The food was delicious. Our room is traditional and comfortable and there are segregated toilets and basins upst as its and bathing downstairs. Lovely cedar baths. Quirky, friendly and recommended.

宿泊客だけしか入島できない秘境の島
Reviewed By Happiness810180島内におそらく２ケ所しか宿泊施設は無いと思います。そのうちの１軒が「民宿いけだ」さん櫃石島（ひついしじま）島民約170人周囲5.4kmの小さな孤島で、瀬戸大橋岡山側から約1kmと本州に近いのですが何故か住所的には香川県坂出市になります。公共機関のバスで入島可能ですが島内には自販機すら無いので、入島前に事前に飲食する物は購入する必要があります。ゆいつ釣り人の為かバス停隣りにトイレだけは設置されています。 約300ⅿほどの砂浜も砂浜もあり海水浴も可能でプライベートビーチでのんびりビールを飲みながら釣りもできるサイコーのロケーションです。 その先に歩いて渡れる周囲500ⅿほどの歩渡島（ぶどじま）へ潮が満ちても渡れるように約10ⅿの架橋があり24H歩いて渡れる景色の良い離島です。 そんな離島の中の高速からは島民専用カードでしか高速ゲートが開かないようになっていて、そのゲートの先にあるのが「民宿いけだ」さんです。 小高い場所にありのどかで建物も清潔感のある非常に素敵な空間を提供してくれます。 食事は地のとれたて鮮魚を食べきれないほど出していただけるので、美味しさはもちろん雰囲気のある船盛や塩釜焼で宿泊価格３倍のお得感と優越感に浸れる料理を提供して頂けます。 コロナ禍ということで夜８時以降の食事の提供はありませんが、持参したつまみと飲み物を広間でゆっくり堪能させて頂き不満になる事もありませんでした。 次回は、是非とも家族で海水浴と釣りをかねてプライベートビーチを堪能しに再訪問させて頂きます。
