Poor standard
Reviewed By Nitesh RThis is a low quality hotel, can get much better hotel for same or slighly higher rate. Room was clean however bathroom was bad. Air conditioning when switched on was like a motor running, very loud. The communal area, in particular was so dirty, carpet looked like it not be hoovered or cleaned for 10 years and lift windows were broken.

Reviewed By Odyssey39712179670Hotel located in the heart of the city with nearby market, hospital, resturants, tourist attraction. Rooms are well maintained cleaned regularly and sanitised. The rooms are economical, airy, free wifi , led tv, gyeser, aquaguard and air conditioned equipped. Every room has window and a city view. reasonable rate double bed 700, single bed 500 and triple bed 900 only. All essential security measures followed.

Reviewed By Moumita BWe were a group of 5 ladies who had gone to visit Jhargram. One of our group became ill suddenly. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. From guiding us to taking care of our needs- we are truly grateful to everyone who went out of their way to help us. This hotel is not very costly. At the same time it is clean. Food is very good. Will highly recommend this place.

Solitary Nook has 7 AC Cottages with a king size and 1 queen size bed with bedside table, wardrobe, sofa set and a centre table with a dressing unit.

Reviewed By sajalm2017We stayed in Solitary Nook for 3 nights. The resort is located in Pakhiralaya (Accurately shown on Google Maps). Their boat picked us up from Godkhali ferry ghat. We arranged for a boat ride everyday. (If you are visiting Sundarbans for the first time, this is a must do as boats are the best means for sightseeing in these collection of islands) The boat fairs were reasonable. We took the cottage that is next to the pond and visible on the picture. The room was huge and clean. All basic amentias were provided. (This is also important for staying in Sundarbans as there is not much to do after sunset) The food was good and the team accommodated our last minute requests which delighted us, They served Bengali cuisine and made sure every item is prepared as per our taste. They best part of staying in this resort was the hospitality and warmth of every individual we have spoken to. Especially, Mr. Tapas who was very friendly, polite and courteous. The boat ride was also very well coordinated by Mr. Tapas. He took care of all the paper work and other necessities. We had lunch on the boat, he picked the perfect spot for us! The view was to die for :) Overall, this would be the first place I would book when I visit Sundarbans again. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Underwhelming experience!
Reviewed By Sujeetha_tsI stayed in this hotel with 7 other friends from dec 1-3. We faced a number of issues during our stay. 1) The hotel has very bad connectivity to the nearby market. 2) The rooms did not have any heater. We had to pay an extra amount for the same, which also failed to work 3) The geyser functions intermittently, only the lucky ones amongst could manage tk get it 4) The checkout time was 12pm when booked, but we were asked to check out an hour earlier, to make matters worse they turned the wifi off even before 11. 5) Do not take the local sightseeing package offered by the hotel, as the local cabs provide it in a much cheaper rate. 6) The driver provided by the hotel was rude,so were most of the other hotel staff.

Reviewed By bamboocdWe had stayed at Citi Residenci, on the 17th, 18th and 19th of Feb in Asansol for my sister’s wedding. It was a comfortable stay, thanks to the efforts of Debashish and his team. They took care of all the preparations quite efficiently. The food was sumptuous, and the hotel complex is super clean, and the team had taken care of the hygiene and cleanliness, right from day one. It’s a must recommend if you’re travelling to this region. Hats off to the team for making our stay and the wedding a memorable one!

Nice budget hotel and holiday home in New Digha
Reviewed By Avishek_BanerjeeStayed in this hotel for 2 days in Dec 18. I had booked through Canara Bank Holiday Home. Service was very good. A problem with the washroom was repaired within minutes. Behaviour of staff was nice. Location is at New Digha and around 15 minutes from sea beach by walking. The hotel has some drawbacks though. 1. Outside food is not allowed, as they have a restaurant which serves decent food. 2. Gates remain closed between 10pm and 6pm. So if you want to witness sun rise, inform in advance. Detailed list given in image. Overall nice budget hotel. Will stay hare again, given a chance...
