I went with 2 friends and stayed at the suite, very comfortable, great price and most importantly great people. Will definitely go again. One small problem is that the building is a bit old so the kitchen/showers/doors could use a renovation.

Lovely kibbutz hotel

Reviewed By Zebanuck

This is a really lovely kibbutz hotel right on the Lebanese border. Beautiful setting, each room is a separate cabin set in blocks of four. There are outside eating areas and bbq all over. Each room has a mini kitchen with microwave, sink and crockery. Breakfast was really great. The area is great for hiking and other activities and the hotel provide lots of inspiration as to where to go and what to do. Very well organised. The rooms are fine - a little bit shabby in places but acceptable. It’s a kibbutz hotel after all. If you’re looking for a comfortable place in the north and in nature, this is great. Perfect for groups.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We returned as we had liked it so much the first time. It was still just as good. Olga, the proprietor, is extremely helpful. She answers any enquiries promptly via WhatsApp. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced and the location excellent for the Old City, public transport, shops and other amenities. We recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

Good stay

Reviewed By B T

I stayed in the single room for a few nights and found it to be OK. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from Haifa Hashmona train station and a 10 min walk or so from the lower Bahai Gardens. Lots of places to eat nearby. The room was fine, it had the bare essentials and was mostly clean, although there was a large and ugly stain on the ceilling. I didn't struggle to sleep, but it could be loud with noise from the road and guests in neighbouring rooms. I was lucky as my room was further away from the kitchen, shared bathroom and roof terrace.

Tzafania Hotel

Tzefania Hotel is one of the first hotels in Jerusalem. The hotel was built in 1930 by the Giladis, a couple of Persian origin, and the second generation of the family in the Holy city, which came to Israel for love of Zion, leaving behind all their property. The Hotel stands out among the other houses in the neighborhood, and it is immediately evident that 4 Tzefania is not like another ordinary hotel. All 18 rooms were designed differently from one another, all the rooms are totally renovated with 19th-century furniture, parquet floors and a chandelier in the middle of the room. The goal is that when the guest enters the hotel, he’sll feel the original Jerusalem combined with the new, the authentic and the conservative, where anyone will feel at home.

Good Service

this is an example of a very well run hotel, the management needs to be congratulated. General Manager does a great job at thanking the guest for her review while also acknowledging the hotel staff. The housekeeper in question is positively endorsed and the manager makes it clear that her work is appreciated within the hotel, which leaves a great impression. Not only that, but the guest is addressed personally, by her name, and invited back for another excellent stay.
