A few steps from the cliff of Machtesh Ramon, About 900 Meters above sea level, The Silent Arrow Desert Lodge invites you all to breath the coolest desert air and enjoy the inspiration of the desert. For reasons of atmosphere and quality of life, the site is not connected to the electricity grid. We use solar lamps at night time to engage softly with the moon and star light. You are provided with shower and restroom facilities. There is always hot water for showering, which we recycle to water our garden. You are provided with a selfservice common kitchen that is accessorized, clean and tidy (no refrigerator). Free coffee and tea are provided. The site includes a sitting area for you to relax and enjoy the desert landscape. You can light a fire, prepare a potjiekos stew or make a barbecue.

Reviewed By P4301JLjankDror is a great host, very welcoming, helpful and relaxed. Incredibly relaxing stay, I regret I could not stay longer. He has good connections to locals who for instance rent Mountainbikes at low rates (which makes sense for visiting the crater when one does not have a car) and he is aware of the good places to go to when one wants to go out in mitzpe Ramon.

Reviewed By LD1803הגענו ללילה אחד, בחג השני. זוג עם ילד בן 3. הזמנו אוהל גדול דלקס (כי זה היחיד שהיה פנוי), שילמנו סכום של 3300 ש"ח ללילה, כולל ארוחת ערב וארוחת בוקר. בניגוד לחוויה שהמקום מוכר באתר שלו - התברר לנו שהוא מיועד גם למטיילים שמקימים מאהל עצמאי וכך מצאנו את עצמינו עם מאהל של 6 אוהליי מטיילים שהוקם ממש ליד האוהל שלנו. עם רעש בלגן וכו'. והדבר לא מוזכר בשום צורה באתר שלהם. בפועל, המקום עצמו היה מאוד נעים, האוהל היה סבבה אם כי המיטות היו בהטייה ועמדו על אבנים בחלקן. האווירה במתחם נעימה אבל היו כמה דברים שהצליחו לבאס אותנו מאוד. המקום ממתג עצמו כגלמפיק פרימיום. לא פחות. בפועל, חוויית האירוח היתה מאוד דלה. בארוחות, נדרשנו לשלם על קפה שאינו קפה שחור בסיסי (כמו אספרסו או הפוך). בארוחת הבוקר לא היה להם מספיק עבור כולם וכו'. המקלחות והשרותים היו נקיים באופן יחסי אבל היו חסרים אביזרים לאורך כל השהייה שלנו שם. מים חמים מאוד כן היו :-). בקיצור - יצאנו בתחושה שקצת עשקו אותנו ושהחוויה שהם מוכרים היא לא מה שאתה מקבל בסופו של דבר בשביל 1000$ ללילה (כי בדולרים זה נשמע הרבה יותר).

Not for everyone -- fortunately
Reviewed By Steven DLooking for a wild and crazy time with sand sun and beach? Great. Go elsewhere. This place isn't for you. This is for those of us who are fleeing the Taglit crowds and the Holy Land tours. There's nothing up there, just beautiful, clean, well-kept cabins, clean air, nice views and of course feral cats. This is a great place to bring a few steaks, some beer and wine, and your girl. (Some lighter fluid would also be a good idea). There's a gigantic jacuzzi in the cabin. It's a perfect Shabbat getaway. Again, expect nothing and you'll love it. If you want Disneyland, just drive a few minutes and there it is down by the Knerret. Enjoy.

Reviewed By itsiknamerחיפשנו מקום ללילה ספונטני בדרום הלא רחוק, נתקלנו בפרסום ה״צינרים״ המופלאים, התקשרנו לבדוק אם יש מקום מעכשיו לעכשיו (חדר בודד בצ׳ק אין מאוחר) וזרמנו לכיוון בלי שום ציפיה. הגענו לקבלת פנים חמה ומזמינה בשעה ערב מאוחרת, ולאחר סיור קצרצר הבנו שזכינו! מתחם קסום המתאים לגילאי 18-88 צעירים בנפשם... ערסלים, פינת מדורה, מקלחות תחת כיפת השמיים, מטבח מאובזר, וה״צינרים״ הקסומים והקומפקטיים - פשוט אגדה! חבל על המילים - להגיע ולחוות! מומלץ ביותר.

Good place to stay
Reviewed By abeooBeen here in 2015. Stayed few days here. Good place but the only thing is its little far from the city. If the purpose is to relax, this is a quiet place and good for groups. It has a swimming pool also.

Reviewed By laurentmgThis is a small flowery resort inside a moshav with access to a lovely pool and nice area to prepare food. The views over the hills are beautiful. Kids can play ping pong and even basketball. Rooms are spacious.

Reviewed By _R8231KU[16:51, 5.1.2022] אורנה בר הגענו לחגוג יומולדת משפחתית אינטימית. חיכו לנו ארבעה קרוואנים במתחם יפיפה ומאובזר בכל דבר שאפשר לחשוב עליו. הלוקיישן היה מדהים! השירות הנעים הסבלני ומסביר הפנים של קרייג מתחיל הרבה לפני ההגעה למדבר. החל משיחת הטלפון הראשונה, לאורך כל השהות ועד לרגע העזיבה. היתה הענות מוחלטת לכל בקשה קטנה כגדולה והמתחם שחיכה לנו היה יפה ומפנק מעבר לציפיות. היה פשוט נפלא. נהננו מכל רגע. תודה רבה לקרייג ולחברי הצוות המקסימים. מומלץ לכל מי שמחפש חוויה מדברית בלתי נשכחת…

Reviewed By marinkauנסיון ראשון בקמפינג עם ילדים קטנים. החניון מסודר מאוד, מתחמי לינה נוחים עם תאורה טובה והרבה מקום. חצאי חביות מפוזרים בכל המתחם למדורה, המון שולחנות פיקניק. מקלחות גדולות עם מים חמים, שירותים נקיים מאוד. חנות קטנה שפתוחה עד 22, חדר קירור וברזיה עם מים (גם תמי 4 עם מים חמים). וכמובן מיליארד כוכבים בשמיים!

The guy really looked after us
Reviewed By Moti415We were hiking the Israel National Trail and stopped there for a night, the owner showed empathy and respect. Cooked more of his dinner, for us to have also, without we asking him to do it. Didn´t want to charge for it. His son put a mobile heater inside the Bedouin tent. We had to leave earlier than the regular breakfast time, so he cooked what we bought in the local grocery store. Nice, good heart guy.
