Reviewed By einat59This is a simple place with no special amenities but I love it and I already stayed there a few time during my work trips to Thessaloniki. The location is great, the rooms are simple but clear and comfortable enough for me, and the staff are really great, always polite and helpful.

The best place for a perfect vacation
Reviewed By Apetrei AAn excellent hotel with great staff. The rooms are very clean with the best view that you can have: the sea. The beach is in front of the hotel. Localia, their restaurant, has very good food. You must try Bao Buns, Club Sandwiches, Pastas and Salads. Also the deserts are incredible. Another good part are the cocktails, you can have them with or without alcohol, both versions are very good. In conclusion this is the best place for a perfect vacation.

Reviewed By jackylG32LBWe had a small blip on our arrival which was sorted out in the morning without any problems. Warm friendly owners and the apartments are very high standard, good quality linen/towels. Breakfast not so great though, small adjustments needed but pizzas great.

Felt like being a family guest
Reviewed By Ivanka17I stayed in hotel "Aqua Mare" for 5 nights in May. When we arrived, we had the impression that the hotel is cozy, stylish furnished and decorated with an eye on the detail. What really makes the difference, was the quality of the service. We had had breakfast in the hotel, where Sonya tried to make our stay comfortable. Amiable, diligent and attentive, she managed to fulfill all the guests' requests even beyond the expectations. The owner of the hotel, Maria, was permanently interested in our feedback and asked us whether everything is alright. Her daughter, Eva, and Anna also did their best to satisfy the guests' requirements. Our half-board included dinner in a Greek tavern, in 5-step-menu. We had the chance to choose one meal per category, namely: appetizers, salads, soups, main course, and a drink. As a compliment, we received even a dessert. The food was tasty and the service excellent. The sunny weather and the sandy beach also contributed to our careless stay. As a whole, the relaxed ambiance and the quality service made our vacation unexpectedly calm and unforgettable. I would definitely recommend hotel "Aqua Mare" to everyone, who needs an escape from the reality.

In the less touristic and lush green Sithonia, you will find a beautiful hotel, ideal in case you need to break out of the city’s hustle and bustle in just a few minutes, offering the ultimate, relaxing destination. If you prefer quiet and family hotels, Maria’s House is definitely what you need. Its privileged location, where the second ‘leg’ starts, allows direct and easy access to the other two legs of Halkidiki.

The on-site restaurant serves fresh fish accompanied by a wide variety of wines, which guests can enjoy at the outdoor dining area overlooking the sea.

Reviewed By Dimitrije OOld furniture ~1970 or so. Terrible checkout time, 8.30am max! Smelly towels (not properly dried). No wifi. 2 small soaps. Not very clean. 2/5. Greasy food, calamari smell like omelette! Greek salad without cheese! Avoid.

Reviewed By craftinganexpatlifeThis is a really interesting little guesthouse. The decor took me completely by surprise when entering the building but in a good way. It was a welcoming little place to stay but you are sure to be awake at 7:30am with the ringing of church bells. The rooms were clean and sufficient yet very cozy. The breakfast table is the most interesting part of the experience as you can let them know when you’ll be ready for your spread and they’ll prepare the table for you for the time you state which means you may be seated with the other hotel guests for your morning coffee. We had a very good group of other guests to share our breakfast time with so it was a pleasant experience if you’re up for a chat with others in the morning. My only disappointment was with the lack of selection served for breakfast. Only bread, cheese, small selection of deli meat and spreads. No veggies, fruit, yogurt or cereal.
