Home away from home
Reviewed By Banda-in-JapanI stayed here for a week while in Onna-son on business. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed so I was very comfortable. Although some construction behind the hotel has spoiled the views from the balcony, the balcony itself, with its table and chair, was a comfortable place to relax. The staff were very welcoming and kind. Due to COVID, breakfast was served in a box that guests picked up from the dining room and took back to their rooms (I even ate on the balcony a couple of times!). It was a very nice breakfast--more food than I could eat. There was also coffee and tea available in the room. Staying for a week, I needed to do laundry. The hotel had nice washing machines and even supplied free laundry detergent. There's not much within walking distance, except beach access and the university. But for me that was all I needed.

Ma-Blue Garden house imagines the atmosphere of the Hawaii resort, and it are also the very convenient facilities which juxtaposed a stay, a cafe and a restaurant. At the same time, particular rich menu and breakfast should be special cure. Though the tone of the wave is heard simultaneously with looking at a starry sky in light sunlight and night in the morning, how about having time comfortably?
Good restaurant but don't go there for the beach
Reviewed By Bob RPositive points : Good restaurant, nice people, clean Negative points : Stayed three nights, beds was not made once, Web site pictures show nice beaches, reality is a very small beach (~9 meters) between the peer and the cliff with a lot of rubbish, big deception.

Somos is located in the village where the world's heritage, Nakijin ruin of a castle. Somos has 2 private cozy villa which provide free wi-fi, private bathroom, loft room, hammock and .. just to escape.. There are many natural beaches around Somos, you will enjoy white sandy beaches, snorkeling, kayaking and chill out with the birds.

A true little boutique hotel, every detail, food, everything is perfectly executed and made to measure. This is as close to perfection as you can get for this price. Absolutely perfect for a couple getaway. Loved the stuff, the owner and the whole vibe. Definitely recommend!

Reviewed By victoriatravel86Room was huge with comfortable seating area. Loved the shower area though as it had a tub and a separate scrub area. The bed and duvet were comfy indeed. And the best of these rooms are that they had an ocean view which was unbeatable. Probably not for sunrise, but awesome for sunset.

Reviewed By Exploration1792563ゆいゆい国頭から山へ登ること3ｋｍ、ペンション与那覇岳さんはやんばるの森と本部半島、その前に広がる東シナ海を一望する別世界に立地していました。ロッジが3棟、和室が3部屋、食事はバーベキューをしても良いし、食堂で食べてもOKです。キャンプファイヤーなども出来るということなので子供連れのご家族などのリピーターさんが多いとか。我々にとっての最高のご馳走は夕焼けでした。本部の山の端に太陽が沈みこんで行く時、そして、その後に現れた壮大なオレンジ色に染まった残照の大きさ、もう感動ものでした。2日連続で見た夕焼けでしたが、日によって違いがあるのでそういう意味合いからも良かったです。このような状況でしたから満天の星空も素晴らしかったです。感動しました。

Hibis Resort is off the road and you will need navigate a dirt path up to Hibis Resort. Mr Ken-ich YAZAWA is the owner of Hibis Resort, he welcomed our group warmly when we reached Hibis Resort. We were led to our rooms and briefed on the amenities of the resort. The rooms on the second storey are pretty spacious and have 2 levels; first level is the living room and second level is the bedroom. A table and 2 chairs are positioned at the balcony where you can enjoy the hillside scenery while having afternoon tea. The toilet and bathroom are separated and basin is standalone in the living room area. The western breakfast is prepared by Mr Ken-ich and his wife. While chatting during breakfast, Mr Ken-ich told us that he is a retiree and has set up a homestay in Okinawa to be closer to the nature and away from the hustle of city life. The lounge area is retro-styled and emits a 60s feel. Hibis Resort is suitable for city dwellers who wish to enjoy the nature and get away from busy city life for a while. Note: As Hibis Resort is very close to the nature, you may be able to see insects at the balcony. Bring along insect repellent if you are a mosquito magnet.

More a B&B than a Resort
Reviewed By Abe LThe word 'Resort' in the name is not accurate at all. Other resorts I've seen at Okinawa are hotels with their own beach and multiple restaurants. This is a privately run bed and breakfast (5 or 6 rooms total) located in a REMOTE part of Okinawa. If you really like nature & need a place with a warm shower in the middle of nowhere, will be renting a car or enjoy biking up hills, then this place may be for you. You will be driving 20 minutes for a supermarket or a restaurant that will serve you dinner past sunset. Not only is this place is Cash Only, but so is everything else within 30 minutes. Bring cash! Only Family Mart & Japan Post Office have ATMs that take International cards. ATMs are not 24 hours and the closest ones are 15-20 minutes away by car. There is a patio on the roof with lounge chairs for a nice view of the sky (night) / water (day) accessible by an outdoor staircase next to the entrance. Reserved at booking dot website. As with many places in Japan, room charge is based on the number of occupants. Paid roughly US$250/night for a family of four and I felt that was expensive for a night of using beds at someone's large beach house. Management was friendly and polite. There was a kitchen, but we didn't stay to have meals.

Reviewed By JAJahanThe whole place was filthy and nothing like the photos. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to staying here. Bathroom was filthy. There were cockroaches in the room. Disgusting really. Only stay here if you're looking for a nice ocean view and are happy to "slum it". Checked out after 1 day and staff didn't even ask of everything was okay.

What a view!
Reviewed By Caius_Iulius_CaesarWe drove from Naha airport to Iyashi no Resort without taking the Expressway and it took around two hours, two hours and a half. With the navigation system we could find the resort relatively easily. Apparently, it is very difficult to get there without a car. Nakajin is an excellent basis to explore northern Okinawa. To the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium it is a15-minute drive, to the starting point of the hike to the Hiji falls it is a one-hour drive. Supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The Japanese room was big and quiet; it was equipped with a small kitchen and was very comfortable. A wifi connection is available. Our highlight was having our own breakfast in the garden outside our room: what a gorgeous view! The lady who checked us in (the owner, I think) was very kind and friendly. She spoke very little English but with her English and our basic Japanese we could understand each other well. She also has a booklet with all information in Japanese and in English. We could only pay cash. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
