Reviewed By JLee1241Stayed here for the second time in Jan 20 Good WiFi, clean accommodation & friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. Also, they provide free coffee, green tea & oolong tea as well as bread for breakfast. Take note - bathroom & showers were clean but is shared, & staircase is narrow. Once again, thank you Chen Tai Tai & team for making my stay enjoyable!

"Sheena & Ippei " takes only 5 minutes by walk from Shiinamachi station, that is just one stop from Ikebukuro station. When you come here through a classic shopping street , you can see the sign "Tonkatsu Ippei " on the entrance , and many kinds of colors and designs of fabrics inside. Fabric is a common language throughout the world. It is a necessary item for any country and culture as well. Travelers can feel, taste and experience Tokyo "life" from the people, the shopping street and the fabric, and also neighbors are coming here naturally. Inn & Café "Sheena & Ippei "is such a good place to stay and relax.
Great neighbourhood, friendly staff, but hard to sleep
Reviewed By Anna HWe stayed for five nights. The price was very reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and give you free coffee each morning. The neighbourhood is great, with a lovely atmosphere and lots of small restaurants. It's a short walk to Shiinamachi station, which is one stop from Ikebukuro. Our room was small, as expected. The bathrooms are shared and we sometimes had to wait for showers. On two of the nights we stayed we had trouble sleeping due to noisy fellow guests.

Reviewed By Lance_KerwinI stayed in this hostel for three nights at a private room. My experience were great. Overall the staff, facilities, location and it's uniquenes in terms of interior were superb. Good value for the money. I will most likely stay in this hostel on my next visit.

Reviewed By Lance_KerwinIkebukuro lodging was a very cozy place in my opinion. The staff and their fascilities were overall great. The lodge is only 10-15 minutes walk from the Ikebukoro metro station. I stayed for a night and had a pleasant experience. Good value for the money.

Arrived in the hostel and welcomed by nice staff, check in system was very fast, they have wi-fi, nice breakfast (hand made jam was very good),also fresh coffee. The room was very clean and bed was very soft and private. You have your own light and power socket. Also they have small locker, its' easy to keep my passport inside while taking shower. The shower was very clean and private. They have a common room, was nice to chat with other people(all of them traveling solo) and have some tea. On the 1st floor they have a cafe and i had a lunch when i arrived (it was japanese carry). Also they have very cool gin bar, huge selection and some other cocktails. Безумно классный хостел. Очень чистый и приветливые работники.

Reviewed By morimorieater安宿でシャワーと寝床で良いと言う方にはおすすめします。シャワーや洗面台もきれいで、シャンプー等も備え付けがあります。駅からも近くで便利。外国人客が多いので気にせず利用できます。

Super bad. This place is not advisable
Reviewed By RD BNo, this is not a good place. Too narrow and no lock doors. The staff and the owner cannot be trusted. The toilets for mixed dormitory is not suitable for those with female frienss. The toilet door sits beside the urinal hence the female friend will be embarrassed using the toilet with males inside.
