Reviewed By nonyhassanHi Konna san & Hotel Mystays Fuji Onsen Resort, It’s a great hotel for 5 of us to stay here. The room was clean so the bathroom either, the air con works properly. At the time we were leaving, I forgot my cellphone which I put it on the bed. I remembered after 5 hours left and we were at Tokyo that time. I called the hotel and there was a front desk staff name Konna san, she’s the one who help me to find my cellphone and she managed to help me to send it by Post Mail and I received it the next day with nicely wrapped inside the box. Don't stay anywhere when you look for accommodation, you won't regret it.

Only stayed 1 night, but what a great night it was - superlative hotel

We was lucky enjough to arrive when the clouds were clearing and we ere treated to a 2 hour uninterrupted and sunny view of Mount Fuji. The view from our balcony was delightful and the onsen was quiet, clean and very relaxing. The food was superb throughout, the traditional Japanese dinner was one of the best meals we enjoyed and the westernised breakfast was delightful (and great for those that find some of the Japanese breakfast options a little challenging so early in the morning). We loved the lounge area, the fun and colourful object d'art, paintings and photographs displayed with the vast array of art and design books on offer along with the complimentary coffee. This place definately warrants a 2 night stay, not just for the hotel, but to sample the many things this area has available in general. Only complaint was the roof top bar service was a little on the cool (chilly) side, however the rest of the staff were warm and welcoming and professional. Would love to come back here! Don't hesitate booking....there are good reasons for the excellent reviews - this place is an absolute joy to stay in!

Reviewed By Leo P其中一個最好欣賞富士山嘅位就一定係河口湖，而河口湖周圍都有好多唔同嘅溫泉旅館。本身想住嘅Shuhoukaku Kogetsu 秀峰閣 湖月full咗，所以就揀咗都好受好評嘅The Kukuna風のテラスくくな。論景觀呢間溫泉旅館真係冇得輸，對住河口湖遠望富士山嘅美景，而且佢嘅溫泉分咗室內同室外，同樣都係可以一路浸住溫泉一路對住個富士山。早餐都相當唔錯，唯一要挑剔嘅就係嗰度嘅員工有啲冷淡，好似冇咗一般熱情嘅待客之道。 Lake Kawakuchi is one of the best spots to view Mount Fuji. The Kukuna offers a great view of Mount Fuji from the room and also the hot spring. Super relaxing! However, the staffs were a bit cold.

Reviewed By bob_neoStayed at more than 5 different Dormy Inns in larger cities, and this Dormy Inn in Kofu is up to expectation. - Centrally located with F & B options - Clean hotel - Clean rooms - Functional toilet and sink area - Acceptable room space but still need some efficient space management on your part, multiple large suitcase will have a problem. Best with small or medium size. - Onsen availability However: - On site carpark is rather limited during my stay and its automated stacked parking - Location is about 15mins walk from Kofu Station. Weather may screw this up for you. A preferred choice for the area, but I'll try the other Dormy Inn within Kofu next time for a comparison.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in!
Reviewed By meeshukI stayed here with family specially with the intention of seeing mt. fuji- we drove by car from Tokyo to here and there’s a rather steep path up to the hotel... the check in experience was incredible, we had a host who sat with us and went through everything there was to offer at hotel including the incredible 5 course meal that was included in our stay, this menu differed slightly on each day of our trip so we didn’t get the same thing every night either - the restaurant is superb. The rooms are super clean, spacious and have the most incredible view!! (See the pictures) - our room included a tub with views out to Mount Fuji - I’ll be honest I got in there every morning because of the view. We had nothing but a positive experience at the hotel, the staff all spoke amazing English and could not have done more to help us! there’s a little shop where you can purchase souvenirs too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay around this area, and if I come back I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you, you made my first visit to Mount Fuji unforgettable.

We asked for a room with beds instead of “futon” and were very comfortable. The amenities (in the bath area) were generous. The evening meal was outstanding.

never got to stay- they took my money anyway
Reviewed By 508liannecMy family and I had two rooms booked for the first weekend of July 2022. I made the booking through another website, Agoda.com, so this review only reflects on them and the hotel. I made this reservation in February under the assumption travel to Japan would be allowed. I asked for a refund when it became clear it wouldn't be, and I also contacted the hotel as recommended by Agoda. The hotel was completely unwilling to listen to my concerns and told me they would only talk to the website. Agoda was unsuccessful in getting a refund after trying several times. If you want to encourage tourism, it's probably not a good idea to steal potential travelers' money. I even asked if I could postpone, put the rooms on consignment, try to resell them myself, etc, to no avail. Pretty heartless treatment given the circumstance. I can't imagine I would stay at a hotel that treats its customers this way now.

Small but comfy hotel
Reviewed By nnskitjpnA kind of standard Japanese so-called "business hotel". Location is good when you reach the hotel by car. Navigation system of the car could easily took us there. Room is a kind of small but good enough. They provided us not all-in-one type shampoo but shampoo and treatment separately, that was a good point as a Japanese, who don't prefer all-in-one type shampoos. We were just lucky or not, but at least at the day we stayed, we could hear no noise from outside the room.

Hightlight of My Honeymooon Trip
Reviewed By YolandacalistaI went to Konansou appox. December 2018 for my Honeymoon trip. I can confidently say that staying in Konansou was definitely the highlight of my honeymoon trip. I got a japanese tatami room, facing the lovely Kawaguchiko, and ot was so comfortable. The service was excellent too, the service you would expect from Japanese Hospitality. The kaiseki dinner was amazing. They have a rooftop where they have a foot onsen, with a clear view of Mount Fuji. We got lucky that we could see the mountain clearly. The onsen was superb too, the perfect way to end the night. It was a really awesome experience. I would stay again for sure at Konansou.

Unbelievable hotel
Reviewed By HornjikWe travelled as a party of 6 including a disabled 9 year old boy with wheelchair. We organised a family room (Room 1004) and a twin bed room (room 1052) and could not have been happier. The family room was incredibly spacious with lots of drawers and hangers. There was a sink, cups, bottles of water, a fridge and some delicious macarons on arrival. They had robes, pj's, comfy beds and 2 tvs. The best part though, was the view of Mt Fuji. The view is actually spectacular and worth the extra money to stay there. We had the breakfast buffet each morning, and the buffet is sensational, you can get anything you want there. The other incredible benefits of staying here is the Onsen, free for guests each day of their stay, the Fujiyama Museum (a series of artworks over time depicting Mt Fuji, which was so interesting), a skywalk on top of the building to get an incredible unobstructed view of Mt Fuji, a little french town dedicated to the animation Gaspard and Lisa and of course Fuji-Q Roller Coaster mecca of Asia. Within Fuji Q is an ice skating rink and, a food court and the best Thomas the Tank Engine themed park there is, perfect for 2-5 year olds. The hotel also has a number of restaurants, a convenience store, vending machines and a bread/cakes shop. It doesn't have laundry facilities but you can have your laundry taken away and done for you. The restaurants at the hotel range in price, we found the Macaroni club to be quite affordable, the dinner buffet was about 3 times the price, all high quality and fantastic though... The view of Fuji from the breakfast buffet is actually the greatest view from any breakfast buffet in the world ever. All in all, this hotel was the highlight of our whole trip to japan.
