Good location, good breakfast and value for money

Although furnishings and amenities are really basic, it is clean and has all the basic toiletries one needs compared to other Ibis Budgets we’ve tried in the past. Breakfast buffet is very good even compared to other superior hotels we’ve been in lately. So, overall we were really satisfied by the quality-price ratio.

Acropolis Hotel biedt sfeervolle, ruime en lichtrijke kamers met alle comfort en voorzieningen. Je kan kiezen tussen een comfort, deluxe of familiekamer. Elke kamer is uniek maar overal vind je wel die warme luxe terug, met zalig veel comfort en verrassend veel oog voor detail. Een gezellige ontspanningsruimte, uitgebreid ontbijt, gratis parking, grote tuin en een casino met restaurant maken je verblijf compleet.
Little shiny gem on the Belgian coast
Reviewed By René RSometimes you don't want to write a review to avoid places getting popular and you risk losing out being able to go back. This is one of these places. Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The rooms are fantastic. We received an upgrade to the Deluxe room which was bigger and more luxurious than our apartment. Great quality bed, gorgeous bathroom and a separate toilet. Parking is free and staff is friendly and helpful. No gym, but why stay inside if you can go on a coastal run! And if it's raining, there's a massive games room downstairs! Just be mindful how to get to the car park; we drove by many times until we found how to get there. The hotel is in the same building as a casino - that might cause a bit of noise if you're a really light sleeper and are in a room just upstairs from the casino, but it didn't really impact us. We will certainly be back!

Reviewed By Katrijn_JeroenThe hotel has a great location but finding a parking place is a challenge, especially in high season. The room is small but comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was too crowded for us. For me the price was to high.

Reviewed By lanisteriumOur room was well furnished, clean and modern. The steps to the first floor are quite steap : can be a problem for elderly people ! The breakfast was absolutly top ( in this price-range) and the owners very friendly ! We would come back if we need an hôtel in Middelkerke !

Reviewed By tim252It is very difficult to rate this hotel. We were welcomed by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist. She showed us to our room and explained that the hotel was designed to provide facilities in all rooms for the less abled. The twin beds are hospital standard adjustables. The rooms are large with plenty of space for manoeuvring wheel chairs. The bathroom is very accessible with standard facilities for less abled people. Unfortunately this has left the room with no character whatsoever, it is like a hospital room. Lack of any floor covering has also made it very noisy both inside the room and noises coming in from outside. The room we were in had an open balcony meaning that persons from other rooms could walk right past the large patio style sliding doors. Potentially no privacy at all. There are no opening windows and no air conditioning. This means that in order to get any fresh air, the patio door has to be opened. This results in the room being open to a great many people. No security at all. Breakfast is served in a large and airy area. Food was fine. Self service buffet. All very much like a large works canteen. The concept behind this hotel is to be applauded. Unfortunately, it hasn't quite come off.

Great location, good hotel
Reviewed By Laurence DGood hotel, quiet, comfortable beds, hot powerful shower, good continental breakfast. We arrived late but the hotel and room key were left in the key safe outside the hotel. Hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the promenade and 5 minutes from the town centre where we found a great bar (Den Toogoloog) for a few well earned beers after the long drive. Friendly hosts and great value for money, recommended.

This property is 3 minutes walk from the beach. Hotel Belle Dune is a 2 star hotel, located close to the seawall between Middelkerke and Westende. It is surrounded by dunes and steps away from the sea. The hotel rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom. Belle Dune is situated close to hiking and cycling trails. The area is nice for horse riding, tennis and golf. There is a tram stop at 100 m and Oostende and Bruges are within easy reach. Guests can use the free bicycle storage.

Reviewed By Makowa36Very surprised it's only 2 star hotel because it should be 4 at least. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, close to the beach restaurants and tram stop. Breakfast was very good too. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and certainly recommend it to anyone. I couldn't find any faults. It's fantastic.
