Reviewed By Richard-HonoriusWhen visiting Can Tho/Mekong Delta take this. We are traveling now around in Vietnam and this is our fifth hotel - all handpicked by a differentiated search via Booking/TripAdvisor/Airbnb/Agoda and so on. I think this was our best and really the price worth. It‘s on the other side of the Mekong, and so you are on the quiet/rural side of the river. It includes free transfers/rides over the Mekong, the food is excellent and the tropical garden including the swimming pool with jacuzzi-mode is wonderful and definitely relaxing. You feel like in paradise! And you don’t have the noise, traffic and bad air of the city. Sitting in the evening in an relaxing chair looking over the Mekong, watching the passing ships and the lights of Can Tho- „City“ is awesome. The service and support by Lieu was excellent. And having a problem with a cancelled Vietnam Airlines flight one day before was no problem for the lodge and was handled with Courtesy.

Beautiful place, warm hospitality
Reviewed By dimtgrA wonderful and peaceful place to experience the Mekong Delta, right on the riverfront. Room was nice, clean and spacious, dinner was great and breakfast offered a big selection of local treats and excellent Vietnamese coffee. Most important, the manager Mr Khoa was always present to assist in any way possible, and the local staff were always helpful with a smile.

Picture perfect way of living
Reviewed By posh16Just what you need after staying for 4 years in a big city. They tried to make it simple and as eco friendly as possible. Tranquil, relaxing, simpler than a simplicity. No other sounds but birds, insects and roosters. Well, boats sometimes. No traffic, no crowds. Rooms were spacious enough. Clean and with additional mosquito nets. Bathroom was my absolute obsession. Breakfasts were yummy and simple. My pick was pancakes. Lunch and dinner menus were pretty diverse with a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. Pool was huge and water there of a room temperature. An Absolute steal. And poolside was so picturesque. Service was great and we got any kind of staff support we needed. No else to say, but stress free and 100 percent self-indulging experience. Both of my friends are of the same opinion.

The Shining
Reviewed By dumpling_18If you like dark, creepy, old, broken, dirty hotels then definitely stay here! Our room 504 was very dirty. The bathroom floor had a pile of hair (not ours) in a corner. The amenities tray hid a few used hair elastics. The towels were smelly. The shower leaked water all over the floor and when we contacted Front Desk twice to request more towels to wipe the floor, they sent us 2 x face washers. We had 2 beds in the room - one with sheets burned from cigarettes, the other with a blood stain. The hallways are barely lit and where they are, the bulbs flicker. The wall directly opposite the lift (Level 5) was stained with a suspicious brown trail. It was a creepy place and we are glad we only stayed 1 night. The rest of our tour group were all in agreement that the hotel was disgusting. The location however is excellent, right on the main street of Can Tho and easy walking distance to the night markets, banks, restaurants, department store, bakeries and supermarket.

Vey nice and charming hotel, but staff not to level
Reviewed By David MThe rooms and the hotel are divine. The restaurant was great (both the upper one and the street level one). I am a French/English person so I really speak both languages very well and am well traveled. I hate to complain because the staff was extremely nice but for that level of hotel and pricing, I was expecting people at the reception with better understanding of our questions and not just giggles and smiles. We stayed nice and polite but not sure everyone wold be like us. For instance, we had a boat tour booked. When I asked where we needed to go (even though it was Mekong Tours but the owner owns the hotel and the travel company), we had to ask numerous time for the embarking point. Everything was sadly a bit of a hassle. This review is more to level up the staff's comprehension.

Reviewed By NedK85Stayed at Song Tien at My Tho on the way to other Mekong cities. It was very comfortable and excellent location right on the river front. The staff are great and Tuan on the front desk looked after us extremely well. His English is excellent Not far from the Vinh Trang temple that has nice gardens and some of the biggest Buddha statues in Vietnam The temlle dates back to about 1840 and looks almost Indian from the front. It is massive and on about 5 acres. Will stay again soon!
