Hike in the fabulous mountains, visit local museums, learn about Armenian medieval history and visit Alaverdi town and see proper Armenia. Delightful rural stopover between cities
Reviewed By sue_stevensWe had a lovely stay at Iris B&B for 2 nights (we broke up the journey btw Yerevan & Tbilisi and used it as a chance to see Sanahin Monastery, which was magical, we had it to ourselves). Irina runs a tight ship, the Iris is spotless and she kept us very well fed at breakfast and dinner (there’s nowhere to eat anywhere else around and there isn’t much in Alaverdi itself). The scenery is spectacular. Irina was also very good at organising taxis, including a couple of places in a shared taxi on to Tbilisi

Welcome to MAGHaY bed and breakfast, a small paradise in the northern part of Armenia. It is located in the City of Vanadzor in Lori Region. The house is beautifully situated and has a lot of cozy corners where you can fully relax and enjoy cool mountain breezes and splendid views of mountains.

There were ants in our room
Reviewed By Dianna M1. First day of our visit we found ants in our room, even on the bed, after they brought anridote with horrible smell, so we had to wait outside about 2 hours. On check out we didn't get any compensation from caused inconvenience. 2. The food in restaurant wasn't tasty at all. 3. The nature was great, but we won't come back

A cozy private house in the center of Stepanavan town. Beautiful garden, hospitable landlords, great food and a nice room. Ruzanna's Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Stepanavan. it is a cozy house with a history of 220 years. The majority of the citizens of Stepanavan who had first settled in this town have lived at least a day in this house. The street where the house is located is called Milioni street because the majority of the houses of that street belonged to a millionaire before the Soviet Union was created. The basement of the house has served as a spinning mill about a century ago, where women carded the wool and made thread out of it. Friendly hosts - Ruzanna and Sos will make your stay adorable and memorable. Ruzanna is a wonderful cook, Sos is the person who is perfectly informed about all the interesting sights in the area. If you are tired of hotels, restaurant food and want to feel at home away from your home, then this is the right place for you. Please come over to our B&B. Here you can feel real Armenian family warmth, eat delicious food, and feel a part of the family. House has one room available for guests and a cozy, beautiful balcony to enjoy your evenings in and a small beautiful garden. Ruzanna's daughters (Taguhi and Sona) are experts in tourism and will help you with any question you might come up both in Stepanavan and in Armenia. If you are lucky to have their daughters in the town, you will be suggested different tours in the area - hiking, going to the river, picking up berries, mushrooms, herbs and greens, etc. Amenities: 24 hours hot/cold water. Directions: Ruzanna's B&B is located right behind the municipality building, next to Shahumyan square in the town center. Just call us and we will lead you to the place. Tours can be organized upon request.
Great place for a short stay
Reviewed By anullikVery nice friendly family, clean room. If you need a simple place for couple of nights, then it is a great choice. Breakfast was great, you can also have a dinner for a fee, but we didn‘t take it since were mainly outdoors. Just note that there is a shared bathroom and WC, if it is important for you.

Pension "Odzun" built in 1971. It consists of a main building and two modern cottages with all amenities: massage rooms, billiard, tennis. Of great importance is the "living" water that treats people and the clean mountain air.

It is very isolated, so transport is neede, but we were on an organised visit, so picked up each day. Breakfast is varied and copious, and meals are, as in all the hotels we visited, enough to send you groaning for the doggy bag. Wifi is a bit hit and miss, and works much better in the garden, but I was able to stay in conrptact with home, which was nice. Unfortunately the staff speak no English, so we occasionally needed our friends to translate for us. Outdoor areas are delightful.

We have a very nice B&B for couple, groups and everybody who wants to enjoy our place. There is a BBQ and you can sit outsite in our beautiful garden. Breakfast is 2000 extra.
An unforgettable stay in a special B&B
Reviewed By hgagdereOur time at Sergo and Arsniv's B&B is unlike any other experience we've had in Armenia, or anywhere else in the world for that matter. The hospitable couple made us feel at home for the days we were there. They made sure we had everything we needed, harvested and cooked food straight from the garden for us, called a car to pick us up from the end of a hike, and Sergo even gave me his grandmother's famous recipe. If you want to experience an Armenian village with people who make you feel like family, this is the place for you.

Paradise in Lori region.
Reviewed By Resort51959274558The guest house is a gem! Excellent accommodations, very clean and cosy. Bed was very comfortable to sleep. The view from the room is breathtaking… forest, stream, green pasture with small village: Lermontovo, and snow capped mountains! The breakfast and dinner was unbelievably delicious. The host is a caring and wonderful man. He made sure we were comfortable, showed us the property so we could enjoy it to the fullest, made recommendations and assisted with our visit to Dilijan, Haghardzin Monasteries, Goshavank, and Parz Lich. Staff were wonderful! Should also mention Chalo the friendly dog! Our hat off to you, Thomas, for your vision and mission in creating a paradise in the Lori region. We are so thankful to God that he guided us to your place. Will definitely come back to stay a bit longer. Cheers dear friends!!!
