Reviewed By CameronBalWe stayed at the Stalker for three nights during our exploration of the Chernobyl zone. We had a room with a double bed and it was wonderful. One of our guides stayed in a hostel room and he said he had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. The staff was very friendly and can speak decently well English. The restaurant had a wide variety of both food and drink (try the cherry drink!) for decent prices.

Far exceeded my expectations
Reviewed By polinas576I had a very pleasant stay. This hotel has English and Russian/ Ukrainian speaking staff, who are very professional and helpful. The hotel shuttle arrived to the airport 15-20 minutes after I called the hotel ready to be picked up. The shuttle was clearly marked and could accommodate up to 16 people. I was the only passenger then. The driver helped me with my luggage. The registration process at the hotel was quick and easy. You can pay with a card or cash. There is an elevator/ lift. My room was very clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet and had a nice view to the gardens with multiple gazebos (which they use in warmer months for outdoor dining). Shower and bathroom were large and clean. There is a restaurant on premises that looked very inviting and had menun in English and Ukrainian. The restaurant stops accepting orders as of 10 pm. There is breakfast available at extra fee. The return shuttle to the airport is 90 grivnas, it should be scheduled a few hours ahead, takes about 20 minutes. I would love to stay here again.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY NEAR KIEV BORYSPIL AIRPORT
Reviewed By DarylJ552The Gorny Ruchej is a very nice hotel only 3 kilometers from the Boryspil airport. The rooms are very nice and the dinners and breakfasts in the restaurant were very good. There were no English TV stations but the WiFi worked fine. We stayed there twice and enjoyed it both times. They even got up at 4:30 AM and called a taxi to take us to the airport. The room rates are very reasonable also.

Reviewed By GergelyfyThe location of the hotel is great (riverside), and it is really a great venue for conferences, trainings and alike. Surprisingly enough, the staff practically don't speak English, so it was rather difficult to discuss anything with them if I needed anything for the training I was delivering there. The restaurant staff know nothing about hospitality. They brought the next dish 1-2 minutes after the previous one, so the plates with the food were queuing on the fully loaded tables while we were still busy with the soup... ??? The breakfast was rather late for a business hotel (not before 8:15 am). The quality of the food and the rooms is OK, though.

Reviewed By Иван ПLast month my company celebrated its birthday here. Chalet surpriced me with а high level of service - it is clean and well-groomed area, friendly staff and tasty cuisine. This place feature is fishing. There are 2 artificial lakes on site with big and rare fish. All equipment you need to go fishing can be rented. Also you can hire a fishing instructor, but I do not recomend this if you want to fishing yourself. They interfere very often. But if you do not like fishing, you can go cayak, play mini-golf or just swim in the beautiful pool... There are a lot of ways to spent your leisure time. In my opinion, prices here are too high, and this is the only drawback I want to say about.

Nice and luxury, but let’s hope that it isn’t raining
Reviewed By Andrew HWe stayed there for only one night, but it was really relaxing and peaceful. The hotel has multiple spa rooms, full size pool, outdoor hot pool, massage, restaurant, etc. It’s kind of like being in an all-inclusive. The breakfast and spa were included with the purchase and were both very nice. The massage has to be booked in advance, especially if you stay over the weekend. One thing we discovered is that you really need earplugs if it rains at night. The noise is pretty significant due to the window construction. The front desk girls were really helpful and understanding and overall the service is pretty good.
