New and Cosy Hotel
Reviewed By christineberthierMy room was very clean and quiet, and was above the little inner garden of the hotel. The comfort of the bed was awesome and so was the quality and diversity of food for breakfast. I would come back without hesitation !

Misleading Booking Site and Poor Management
Reviewed By Monty295Parkhotel Jordanbad used to be much better. My wife and I have visited the Parkhotel and Spa at least once a year, for the last 16 years. Service used to be friendly and professional and it seemed to have good management. Unfortunately, our experience in January was very disappointing. I had booked a room with "King Size Bed" on the hotel's website. At check-in, the rather unfriendly receptionist claimed that I had reserved a room with a much smaller "French Bed". I showed her my reservation confirmation which on top of the page stated "Queen Size" Bed and next to the quoted price "King Size" bed for the room I had booked. The reception desk staff was unable and unwilling to accept the price of my reservation confirmation. The management staff was not present and unavailable by phone for the next 2 days. Are they misleading their guests on purpose, so that they can charge a higher price? I requested to stay in a room with a Queen size bed, but was forced to pay a higher price than quoted on my booking. The hotel apparently does not accept the conditions of their own booking site. The owner, Thomas Lerch would not return my phone calls or e-mail. Judging from our experience, the manager has reception staff on the premises which has no decision making authority and does not care about this frequent guest. We had a rather unpleasant stay which totally goes against the "Wellness" philosophy of the Parkhotel Jordanbad.

Comfort and space in the middle of town
Reviewed By abcdefghijklmnop683The hotel is only 10 minutes on foot from the train station and right next to lots of shops. The hotel has a good restaurant and there are many more nearby. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is ready in the room, which is fine with a good selection of food and drink. The downside is the vicinity to the church, with bells ringing every 15 minutes day and night. In the suite you need to climb stairs to get to the bed or the bathroom.

Reviewed By Avi PThis hotel is near an industrial zone in Biberach, but it is 15 minutes walking distance from Biberach city center. There are also nice walks possible along the Riss river, 1 minute walking from the hotel. We arrived with a car and there is plenty of free hotel parking. I noticed bus stations near the hotel, but cannot comment because I haven't used them. The rooms are good size, well equipped, very clean and comfortable, good amenities, EXCELLENT breakfast. Friendly service in this family run place. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By michael_in_irvine* I visit Biberach often on business and found this hotel for my last stay. It was the nicest place I have stayed in the area so far. The hotel has a new feel (not sure if the location is new or recently refurbished) and everything was clean and new. * The location is a little outside of town (40 minute walk or 5 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride to the town center). It is in a quiet residential neighborhood which I found made the property very relaxing. * This is not a full service hotel. There was no one at the desk when I arrived and had to press a button which I believe called someone from another location to come to the property. This was not a big deal, but you should be aware there is not always someone there to address issues. * The free breakfast is at a very cute bakery next door. You get a card from the hotel that let's you select from bakery items and they also have a small spread of fruit, cereal, eggs and cheeses as well. This is a neighborhood bakery so it is a nice experience to eat with locals. * I would definitely stay here again on a return visit...really nice place.

Better than expected
Reviewed By nzd31155comfy beds, clean modern rooms and a good shower. Excellent breakfast maybe the coffee could be better. Let down somewhat by the terrible wifi (I'm currently tethered to my phone). In the room there's no coffee machine or iron which are on my list of needs for a 4* review. Free parking outside isn't extensive so if it's busy you might get caught short. But all in all, it's clean, comfy and most importantly for us in a near perfect location.

Reviewed By HocicoFür eine Nacht brauchte ich ein Zimmer und das Peperoni lag am günstigsten. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Vor allem schön mit dem Holzfußboden statt des sonst üblichen Teppichs in Hotels. Das Restaurant suchte ich dann abends auch auf - und war mit der Pizza sehr zufrieden. WLAN funktionierte tadellos. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig. Von daher sehr gerne wieder.

Very disappointed
Reviewed By Eng2253I knew of this hotel from a former visit and decided to stay there again for one night. This time we were very disappointed in our treatment (or lack of treatment) at the hotel. Apart from an initial booking confusion due to the hotel misunderstanding a mail I sent them, (ok, that can happen) I have never stayed in a hotel where there is not a single member of staff present either in the evening or the morning. Had there been a serious problem - fire, door blocked etc - we would have been unable to deal with it. I was also unable to make use of the hotel wifi. We were unable to have breakfast in the hotel but I was only informed of this when I had already booked a second time. Even with the reduction in price the café breakfast did not make up for the traditional German hotel one. As we could not pay the bill there, since there was no-one present, I was obliged to find another way to do so. I let the hotel know how dissatisfied we were but received in return the invoice without a word of apology. I did not expect this kind of treatment in a 3* hotel.

Decent enough.
Reviewed By Mark LOne of the few cosy hotels in Biberach. Breakfast has quite the spread, literally. Many types of jam, butter, cheese, bread and Hams. The only thing that could use a little more variety is the eggs. Room-wise, carpeted, decent and clean. Location - within walking distance to Subway and Aldi supermarket. However, it's quite a distance from the train station. Took me close to half hour on a Friday night in the dead of winter. I had to walk through a quiet park, under the flyover with little lighting using Google maps. May not have been the best route but it brought me back to the hotel in one piece. That's probably the only bummer. Another thing is the service, I realised I left my Laptop adaptor and charger in my Room when I was at the airport. I called back the hotel and they said they had found it and Kept at reception until Somebody claims it. It's been one week now. Let's see if they continue to Keep it until someone claims it. Until then, have fun Staying there.

Reviewed By JojoPoWir hatten Zimmer 3 über das Buchungsportal booking.com gebucht und haben ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss bekommen mit 2 sehr bequemen Einzelbetten, die aneinander gestellt waren, einem kleinen Tisch mit 2 Stühlen, einem ordentlichen Schrank mit kleinem Kühlschrank, einen Flachbildfernseher direkt neben einem Bett (zum Fernsehen schauen im Bett etwas ungünstig), kostenlosem W-Lan und Bad mit sehr guter Dusche aber leider ohne Heizung. Wir haben auf Nachfrage einen Elektroheizkörper bekommen und hatten es dann nach dem Duschen dort warm. Leider war unsere Zimmertüre nicht ganz so dicht, wie man es erwarten könnte, denn das Flurlicht war rundherum gut sichtbar und stört schon ein wenig beim Schlafen. Dann dürften wir uns noch die anderen nicht vermieteten Zimmer anschauen und waren sehr erstaunt, wie schön diese Zimmer allesamt waren - danke an den Sohn der Betreiber für seine Mühe mit uns. Das gereichte Frühstück war gut und ausreichend und es gab auch frische Eier und Säfte aus der hiesigen Umgebung. Ein relativ guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir kommen wieder!!! Dann gab es auch noch Getränke (Wasser, Bier, Wein) zu moderaten Preisen für die Gäste auf Vertrauensbasis (Listen lagen aus).
