Comfortable stay
Reviewed By franinmucWe chose this hotel because there was parking available. The hotel is more of a business/conference hotel and there are not many frills. However, it served our purposes and it wasn’t very far to walk to the old part of Bayreuth. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are on a short trip to Bayreuth and would like to stay somewhere where you don’t have to pay enormous parking fees.

Our rooms are renovated since 2020 all our rooms are non-smoking WLAN free of charge all over the hotel the renovation of our garage is finished - now we have space for 33 cars (also E-Car charging stations) and motor-/bicycles the 'oldest part' of the hotel was rebuild - original 12 small single rooms were reconstructed to 3 junior suites Our wellness area contains a sauna and a steam bath. Massages can be booked in advance. Our fitness room is opened. CLASSIFICATION Klassification: Four Stars
A SPECIAL HOTEL FOR OPERA LOVERS
Reviewed By George and Eve DWe noticed from day one that all the guests in the hotel came for the Wagner Opera Festival. The hotel is providing free transportation from the hotel to the opera house and a return transportation from the opera house at a cost of 4 Euros per person. The hotel is also providing refreshments before going to the opera, and you can book a table at the restaurant to have a meal on your return. The restaurant is open till late (I believe till 1.00 am) when an opera performance takes place. A very nice, reach breakfast is served until 1.00 pm and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a corner in the Reception area, where you can watch records of previous operas. Bayreuth is a beautiful town. Don't forget to visit Richard Wagner's house, and one road up, Franz Liszt's house, also during Wagner Festival a lot of musical events take place, such as recitals at Steingraeber und Sohne Piano Factory, organ recitals etc.

Reviewed By 781ninaI booked a room last minute after my planned accommodation was cancelled. I arrived late in the evening and the gentlemen at the reception were very welcoming and professional. The room was beautiful and clean and I had a great overall stay. Looking forward to visiting again.

Reviewed By TrippingongasOne of those that depends on why you are there and what you pay. The location is really good. The staff are nice and helpful. Wifi is good, It looks a little dated but certainly not tatty. Breakfast is good and for a reasonable price by European standards. Bed comfortable if you like hard beds. The downside is the rooms are rather dim and cramped and very basic. There are zero facilities in the room, apart from the TV with only German channels. The desks are very small to the extent that one laptop requires freeing up space to fit on. If you are there on a visit where you will spend only sleeping time in the hotel this will not matter. If you are on business, where you might need to do some work in your room, spend time just recovering from a long day. the lack of in room facilities and space is not ideal at all. So three stars. Depends what you are there for and how much you pay, could be a hit or a little disappointing.

Reviewed By mateusz15w40I was visiting thus Hotel once, just for 1 night. Hotel is really clean, everything is brand new in the room. Bed was really big and comfortable. Kitchen in my room were equiped in everything what you can imagine. And this was the problem- when you are looking for pleasant stay for 1 week and you are planning to cook and eat in hotel room it is your place. But if not, it might be a problem. They don't have restautant in the hotel in which you can eat a breakfast- you have to go 100 meter away in the morning to have small, but tasty portion.

Nice new stylish hotel
Reviewed By Etienne VNice new stylish hotel near the city center and Central Station. Didn't hear any trains in our room. Room and bathroom were nice and clean. Breakfast was good if you don't have a food allergy. I have one (lactose) and the staff didn't understand what this allergy is and therefore they couldn't help me with selecting the food I could eat.

Good hostel
Reviewed By Ricardo VI stayed there some nights whilst I was researching at the Universtiät Bayreuth. It was recently renewed, so the entire place looked very good. The breakfast had a varied amount of options and the hostel is located besides the university, so it is perfect if one goes to do academic work. Compared to other hostels in other cities, the prices are a little bit higher, but it is the only option in Bayreuth.

Decent hotel
Reviewed By JustinLBNot entirely sure what the photos for the hotel shown are, its a central located hotel above / attached to a cafe / restuarant... Its on a main road near a shopping centre. The hotel was one pf the cheaper ones available during the festival. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable amd staff friendly. Checking in was easy and id be happy to come back next time i visit.

Clean, simple and moderately priced hotel
Reviewed By Christoph BB&B Hotel in Bayreuth is a simple, moderately priced hotel in the heart of Bayreuth. The hotel looks quite new and is quite clean. The covid-19 restrictions were taken very seriously. Unfortunately, this meant that they couldn't offer breakfast or open a common area. Our room was rather small, but sufficient. It had a TV, wardrobe, air-conditioning and soap in the bathroom. Towels were clean and changed regularly, even when not specifically asking for it. The people in the reception were friendly at all times, same holds for the cleaning staff. In the reception you will find vending machines for coffee and cold drinks. A supermarket, bakeries and restaurants of any sort can be found just around the corner. Parking is possible in a nearby garage (2-3 mins walking) at 7 euros per day. I can recommend B&B Hotel Bayreuth since it is located centrally at moderate cost and offers most things that one would expect.
