Beautiful forest location
Reviewed By Paul VSituated in Bakonybel, a village in the hills and forests of the Bakony region of western Hungary, this hotel was a great experience for us, and our coach party. It is small, and basic, but with a friendly, outgoing host who is a real character. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the food genuine regional fare. Although our menu choice was limited, in order that our dinner be waiting for us upon our arrival each evening, the meals were delicious. They included a soup made from wild onions harvested from the forest, which was superb - and was touted to have all sorts of therapeutic benefits. The host had recently purchased a road train, and took us on a trip through the national park, through wooded glades and valleys, to one of the peaks. The village itself is neat and attractive, and well worth a morning or evening stroll.

Reviewed By zoltan168Már másodszor jöttünk ide, a házat kompletten foglaltuk. A tulajdonosok kedvesek és segítőkészek. A haz a szobák a faluban szerintem kiemelkedően jol kialakitottak, kenyelmesek, megvan a 100% tisztaságérzet. Minden szobában van kv főző. A telek szépen karbantartott, kinti fozesi lehetőségekkel. Összességében nagyszerű élmény volt.

Basic hotel, nice surroundings
Reviewed By aIRdEERefurbished old(ish) building on the edge of the woods. Food is decent but you can only get buffet type lunch, dinner. Rooms are clean but basic. Not sure if there is a bar but the reception sells drinks 24/7 anyway.

Reviewed By szugyiWe arrived with children, they did not serve us, the shame of the hospitality is this place, it is sad that such people can run a restaurant in Hungary. We will never come back here. You should go to Bakonybél if you want kind service and good hospitality.
