Reviewed By Meiliza CThe third hotel I stayed with my Explore Japan Tour Friends. My impressions are: - I got an apartment style room, combined the standard bed room with tatami style room. It is big, nice, clean and spacious room. - The view of the mountains is excellent, the air so refreshing during autumn, must be nicer during winter. - The first place I try onsen in Japan, so relaxing and comfy - The architecture of the hotel building is unique

Trip through H.I.S. Package bus tour
Reviewed By jackV6281GRWe had an excellent opportunity to walk around Shinshu area of Nagano, Japan through help from H.I.S. that has enabled us to stay this excellent hotel facility for one night. There seems many beautiful natural sites we could have visited, yet there was enough time to go around this time. Fantastic relaxing place I can recommend for your stay nearby this region.

喫煙者用の高級な民宿かな
Reviewed By triptorip旅館苦手なので躊躇してましたが口コミがあまりにも良いので旅館OKな夫と勇気出して泊まりました。 良い点：とても清潔。コーヒーが美味しい。客層が良さそう。夕食が美味しかっ た。接客は気の置けない感じでおしゃべり好きなおじさん達。 良く無かった点：建具の閉める音が筒抜け。その他の音も同様。 ローベッドは低すぎて寝具も良くない。 貸切風呂は時間とタイミングに神経使う。 朝食は普通以下特に白飯が夕食朝食共に不味かった。 好みは人それぞれですが、ホテル派の方にはちょっと厳しいかもしれない。せっかくのベランダは喫煙可なので嫌煙家は出られない。喫煙者多数なイメージでした。

Very nice 2nd visit
Reviewed By tsukikennthis was our 2nd visit to this comfortable onsen hotel. Since our last visit, it appears that a new 4th floor was built, which is where are rooms were. They were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kaiseki dinner was excellent and the Japanese breakfast buffet was delicious with a large variety of choices. As has been stated by others, the first floor onsen is larger with an open air option but busier because residents from the town are allowed to use it. The 3d floor onsen is smaller with a single rectangular large bath. One of the highlights was the presence of wild monkeys that come into the cabin area across the street and feed along the road providing great photo opportunities. The main drawback for tourists is that it is off the main public transportation lines and thus, you have to get here by car or tour bus. I am unable to comment on value because we had this arranged as part of our tour package.

The best Onsen in Matsumoto
Reviewed By Travel_team07_14This place is a paradise. About 13km from the Matsumoto train station, it is reachable by bicycle if you want to have a small challenge. The outdoor onsen has a view on the mountain range. It costs 500 yen and they provide the shampoo and soap.

Small town hotel
Reviewed By Richard522Rooms were small, hotel is close to the rail station but the trains do not run all night, beds were a little short and firm, the pillow was hard as a rock - ask reception for a western pillow. Complementary breakfast, Japanese food was ok. Restaurant on the ground floor near reception, small but convenient as this is a small town with not many facilities, though there is a 7-11 with 5 mins walk. Generally, not bad for a small town hotel.

We are TAKITARO and located Hotaka Azumino city Nagano, Japan. Please stay our log cabin as your holiday house and feel wood atmosphere. In summer, you enjoy BBQ on garden of your cottage and in winter, you warm by burning wood stove. There are some types of cottage for 4-16 people. All log house have Wood-burning stove, kitchen, dining, living, appliance (TV, DVD, CD, microwave, refrigerator, rice cooker, air conditioner, vacuum cleaner, and so on)、table ware and cutlery set. Some cottages also have wash machine. Wood burning stove is available from November to March. If you need any assistance, please tell us. We give some information about museum, cafe, restaurant, Japanese soba noodle and sightseeing. In advance please let me know your check in time. Please bring your night ware. Our all building is wood and located in Quiet villa ground, so please respect each other specially night time.
Relax in a nice log cottage
Reviewed By yopparai_taroI stayed at the end of September. The food in Azumino is delicious and you can have a BBQ in front of the cottage. There is a hot spring nearby so you can change your mood. Since I can use WiFi here, I could bring my computer and work comfortably during the day. I enjoyed listening to my favorite music, brewing coffee, and enjoying extraordinary life. Thank you very much. 9月末にワーケーションで泊まらせてもらいました。安曇野は食べ物も美味しく、コテージ前でBBQすることもできます。近くに温泉があり気分転換も可能です。WiFiが使えるのでパソコンを持ち込んで日中も快適に作業できました。好きな音楽を聴いたり、コーヒーを淹れたり、非日常を味わえました。ありがとうございました

Reviewed By tabi-buncho休暇村ファンです。 休暇村リトリート安曇野は半年ほど前に予約し、 とても楽しみにしていました。 到着すると、とても素敵なロビーには、 季節柄、大きなクリスマスツリーが飾られていて、暖炉もありうっとりしてしまいました。 お部屋は畳にベッドのスタイル。 お洒落で快適でとても居心地が良かったです。 ロビーもお部屋も素敵なのに比べ、 大浴場やロビー横のトイレなどは、 古く趣向が違うと思ったら、以前は愛知県豊田市の保養所だったそうです。 でもどこもとても清潔です。 スタッフの方々、他の休暇村と同じくみなさん笑顔で非常に感じが良かったです。 ただ一つ残念だったのは、お食事です。 ここの休暇村は、夕食も朝食もブュッフェスタイルではありません。 盛り付けは素晴らしいのですが、 印象に残った味がないというか。 決して不味いわけではないけれど、 感動もないというか。普通です。 ステーキ、とらふぐなど豪華な食材はありましたが、見た目をこんなふうに張り切らない、 私としては、もっとシンプルでその土地の物を 食べたかったです。 それが休暇村の良さかなと思っていました。 夜のスムージーは美味しかったです。 朝の生卵も美味しかったです。 売店のバームクーヘンが夜も朝も出たのには ちょっとびっくりしました。 全体的にお食事の量はとても多かったです。 ただ、子ども用の食事は、 小学校低学年には良いかもしれませんが、 高学年にはちょっと足りないと思いました。 コーンスープが、粉で溶かすインスタントのものかな？と思いました。 スタッフさん皆素晴らしく、清潔で素敵なホテルでしたが、再訪する目的がこのホテルにあるかと言えば、私的にはないかなと思いました。

Finding an ideal onsen ryokan in Azumino does not have to be difficult. Welcome to Shohaku, a nice option for travelers like you. Guest rooms offer a flat screen TV, air conditioning, and a seating area, and Shohaku makes getting online easy as free wifi is available. You can also take advantage of some of the amenities offered by the onsen ryokan, including baggage storage. As an added convenience, there is free parking available to guests. 古き良き安曇野最高の宿
Reviewed By Akiko-happy最盛期には皇室、有名人も訪れた30年以上続く安曇野の老舗旅館。さすがに若干の老朽化は見られるものの、加水、加熱をせず、源泉を適温まで冷まして使う妥協のない最高の湯質を持つ温泉、オーナー、女将さんの細かな心遣いには古き良き日本のお持てなしの精神が感じられる。夕食の鯉のうま煮は言うまでも無く、厚切りの信州サーモン、岩魚の抹茶味噌焼きこれも絶品で、天ぷら，すき焼きも最高で、全て心のこもった料理に感謝感激。ごまかしのジャグジー風呂、アレンジ料理など、表面的な華美さえを求める客は来る事なかれ。本物を追求する通なお客には安曇野随一の旅館として、あるいは古き良き日本情緒を味わいたい外国人には最高の旅館であるとお勧めできる。 If you want to experience traditional Japanese culture and nice atmosphere, I do recommend "Shohaku" best in Azumino. それから生きた招き猫であるクロネコの”くろちゃん”の可愛らしさは確実に松柏のリピーターを増やすのに一役買っている。
