Reviewed By spzusmanIt is in Arad, a boutique hotel. The rooms are reasonable size with a kitchenette, fridge coffee machine etc. The lobby is open 24h for extra tea, coffee capsules etc.. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast ample choices for vegans including chocolate cake ?

Rare and authentic stay in the desert

Great staff to get us keys, give us an orientation, where to park, help with bags (if needed), etc. We had four rooms all in the cluster, which was really handy. Petting zoo for kids, camp fire for after dinner gathering, buffet style dinner and breakfast with lots of selection. You couldn't do any better, DEFINITELY stay here.

Reviewed By 43berndpThe host Gili was more than helpful. We originally had rented a large tent. However, as a storm, cold and rain was announced Gili offered us without asking to cancel this reservation and moreover he organized an alternative accommodation. So sorry that we could not enjoy the great view and hospitality but would definitely come back once the weather allows.

Budget hotel, good location to Masada and Dead Sea
Reviewed By michdollFeels like any budget, European hotel - dated decor and small rooms, but does the job. Good for saving money while visiting Masada and Dead Sea. The shabbat dinner is pretty mediocre - it all has to be prepared ahead of time so kind of like cheap, banquet food - no texture, but edible. Street side is pretty noisy during the night. Sofa bed is a hard, futon-like bed - ok for a small kid, I guess. Pool is closed in winter.

It is ideal for visiting the craters of the Negev Desert and the Yorke'am springs. The historic fortress of Masada is also nearby and the thermal spas of Ein Bokek on the Dead Sea are 20 minutes away by car.

Bathroom had separate areas for shower, toilet, and sink - so it was easier for the three of us rooming together to get ready at night/in the morning. There were outlets and reading lamps by each bed. It was a really nice room, actually. The problem was the food. The food at the cafe definitely wasn't as good as food we had at other hotels/hostels/kibbutzim during our trip. But the rooms were nice!

New B&B in Arad. Two exclusive standard units with an amazing desert view. One unit is suitable for a couple and the second unit can accommodate two couples or a couple with children. Our rich and tasty breakfast includes: eggs, fresh vegetable salad, several choices of cheeses, muesli and more. The kitchenette is well equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, dishes and utensils. Coffee, tea and milk are available in the kitchenette free of charge. Both units are air-conditioned and have flat-screen satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. You can also enjoy the unique desert view while relaxing in the jacuzzi

Reviewed By mjhirschfeld2018We had 2 beautiful rooms with all amenities. There was also plenty of disinfectants (COVID). The jacuzzi was fun. The garden has an incredible view over the desert, where we made a fabulous hike (not easy). The breakfast was delicious and responsive to all our dietary requests (eggs, vegan, no gluten etc.) and plenty. the kitchen is well equipped for preparing one's own dinner. For those interested in archeology - Massada and Tel Arad are close with much history to learn. Daphi, our hostess was considerate and helpful and most responsive. The place is impeccably clean and comfortable.

Lovely place just 20 minutes drive from the Dead Sea
Reviewed By anjelicekWe were driving from Red Canyon and Mitzpe Ramon, so decided to stay in Arad, just 20 minutes drive to the Dead Sea (our next location). The guest house is located in a very quiet area, with only two restaurants for the dinner to choose from. One we chose was just 15 minutes walk from the place that was also recommended to us by an owner via Whatsapp. Because we didn't have a wifi whilst on the road I didn't get any of the messages from the owner, but basically the key to our room where in the door (we have learnt that while speaking to a Russian speaking lady in the owner house). The room was just a good size for two of us with a little kitchenette with all sorts of utensils, private bathroom with toiletries and complimentary cookies on the table. Wifi worked perfectly and the location was a great for visiting Ein Bokek beach and Masada fortress. In overall, we had a good stay and owners were very kind.

Reviewed By RuthElkanaWe took a few rooms and had the whole upper floor of the villa to ourselves, with a terrace decorated with flowers and a beautiful view into the desert. The rooms were clean the beds very comfortable (pillows as well), hot shower, a fully equipped kitchen, good service of the host. Great place to stay in the desert!
