Newly renovated and decorated with a modern decor. 3 story property with many private rooms, one dorm room and a small kitchen and social area. 24 hr free coffee and tea provided. No elevator, 24 hour check in, free light self-serve breakfast provided 7-11 am. Close to all amenities including restaurants, the waterfront, supermarkets and Chinatown. Not a party hostel. Rooftop deck for relaxing and smoking. Also small dipping pool for chilling outside with a cold drink. Friendly, helpful staff to assist you in the rest of your travel plans. Laundry service available (extra charge).
Very nice play to stay
Reviewed By 532elskehWe had a very pleasant stay here. The manager Herbert was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The interior looks nice, although the pool was under construction but we didn't mind. Locationwise it is a perfect spot in Kuching. We felt right at home here. Highly recommend coming here.

Benarat Lodge or Benarat Inn is a simple lodge in Mulu National Park. It belongs to Tropical Adventure Tours & Travel in Miri. We have recently increased the no of rooms and is in midst of adding in solar energy for each room to supplement the current power generated from generator. We have recently build a 32 feet swimming pool at our place. Come stay with us to enjoy the swimming pool. Most guests who stayed with us usually book our 3 days Njoy mulu tours, 4 days Mulu Pinnacles tour or the 5 Days Headhunter trail tour. This is back to nature at its best.

Reviewed By JohnnyLaursenThe staff's helpfulness and knowledge of the area and their punctuality were excellent. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and has good humor. There is a 6-7 minute drive to the Mulu NP headquarters. You have free drive from the lodge to HQ.

Love the theme!
Reviewed By Fat_Tony1524Great stay at Hero Hostel. Love how each room has a character. Room was clean and cosy, no windows. Hot water and Air conditioning worked well. Handy to have to the common room area to use as well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was not bad either! Was a bit worried when they provided ear plugs but we did not hear much noise.

Great budget hotel
Reviewed By SassiBeeWe stayed here for 5 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The owner was lovely and very helpful, it’s a bright, clean, well run place. Very close to town. 60R per night for a clean and good sized double room (without windows or bathroom). The shared bathroom was clean and in good working order but a standard Asian set up with toilet paper outside the cubicles, no soap by sinks etc and takes a little getting used to but otherwise no complaints.

We are a small budget hotel located in the heart of the city, emphasising budget, comfort and cleanliness cater to everyone.
Improvement needed
Reviewed By oliviaalex4373A beautiful room but could be further improved. It obviously looks incomplete to me. What is with the blind instead of curtains? Curtains will make the room more vibrant and elegant. How about installing carpet on the floor to make the room look more pleasing. Family room especially. Not all the guests likes to walk on tiles when in a room. Hot water is provided outside the room but I don't see any glasses, drink packets of tea/coffee. So I am wondering what is it for? However, I like the idea of ironing your clothes on Level 2 and drying your hair on Level 1 outside the room. Hunting for food was easy as there were many cafes/restaurants nearby but the weakness point is its a bit far from town.

Reviewed By missilverKelebihannya adalah bersih dan nyaman. Namun sayangnya tempat ini agak jauh dari mana2 dan agak sulit dijangkau dengan transportasi umum, sehingga perlu transportasi pribadi (rental car atau taxi) untuk bisa sampai ke sini.

Tropical encounter
Reviewed By franklydavidThe Hostel is nestled centrally up a side street just a stones throw away from the main waterfront. The building is small and rather limited in space however the Dorm room which is on level2 is rather spacious and has only 4 beds plus a locker for each guest. The single rooms are pretty small. The showers are oddly placed next to the kitchen area. Certainly value for money and would stay again.

We could not have found you a better hostel in Kuching othrr than Backpacker`s Stay in Chinatown! Our hostel is located right in the heart of the bustling Chinatown, offers endless entertainment, eateries and shopping options. All other necessary amenities and public transport systems are also located our doorstep.
