The negatives; - Staff doesn't speak English at all. - The bed was clean, the rest of the room not so much - Bathroom is shared, which is mentioned in details but you don't expect it when booking a "deluxe room" Neighbourhood is pretty loud

Excellent Host
Reviewed By 811donniesBamboo's house and staff were very friendly and welcoming during this coronavirus pandemic. This was one of the few places accepting foreigners so there were many people staying there. The rooms are very affordable, have comfortable beds, cold ac and Netflix! We were staying for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4 with no problems. Breakfast was included and served freshly. We enjoyed sitting in the rooftop bar overlooking the ocean. He plays some of the best music to keep you relaxed. Beer is cheap and the pizza was excellent. We ate it 2 nights in a row. We were able to get laundry done and back to us the following morning. If you are into caves, he is very knowledgeable as he was once a guide. I fell in love with his cat "Meow" and he has a cool dog named "Dan." We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Reviewed By imbewuHonestly, I was originally attracted to it by the price and the great reviews, but now I really cannot recommend Dolphin Home enough. The genuine, caring hospitality is unmatched. From the moment I set foot in Dolphin Home, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Hoài and her family are so kind and helpful, and I ended up staying in Dolphin Home for 2 months while I found my own permanent accommodation. Dolphin became my first home away from home, and even once I found a house to live in, I was sad to leave the comfort and friendly faces at Dolphin Home. During my time there I stayed in a private room, the dormitory, and the family room, and the rooms and beds are all clean and comfortable. There is a wonderful rooftop terrace from which you have a great view over the park and the majestic Nhật Lệ River. It's also a perfect place to watch the sunrise, and the fishermen starting off on their boats for the day. It's an ideal location for your stay in Đồng Hới, with plenty of attractions and restaurants within walking distance. There are also bicycles to be borrowed for any further exploring or visits to the beach.

Okay for value and close to long beach
Reviewed By Isabell_PPWhen we arrived, there was no English speaking staff, but they called someone whom we were talking to. Same with questions like tours or laundry. They always called someone, whom we suspect to be the manager. Nevertheless, the family was friendly and breakfast was decent for a day. The rooms facing the river are good and big enough for two people. Unfortunately the bathrooms are not very clean and a bit "run down". Spider cocoons were on the walls and the towels provided were not clean. The location of the hotel is good, everything is in walking distance. Lond beach is one of the nicest beaches and still a secret among tourists - a lot cleaner than the beaches in Hoi An and Mui Né.

Thank the owner for giving us recommendations about Quang Binh. One more thing that You must try the noodles next to the Homestay.

A nice lovely hostel In the heart of Dong Hoi Quang Binh. Great staff that speaks good English. Soft beds, amazing view over Nhat le River and bridge! Also we have the one and only pub in Dong Hoi!

Reviewed By nichoj19Kelly and my third stop on our Vietnam adventure was the Adam and Eve home stay in Dong Hoi. Great facility ran by outstanding people. We stayed in a Huge room for I’m embarrassed to say for how much. The room was fabulous the breakfast is very tasty in the morning. They set up our tour of the caves and even arranged our transportation to Hue. If you are looking for a great place to stay, look here, you won’t be disappointed. Try your hand at Karaoke! Thanks for a lovely stay!
