Riverside Cottages is a 2 kilometers east of Khao Sok's touristy town center, easily accessed with our free shuttle service.

Reviewed By RichieReeI frikkin loved my stay at the Riverside Cottages. The owner is an ecologist and Bodie. He has this deep authentic connection to his environment, and goes to all lengths necessary to create it for his guests - and yet he's still the most chill guy in Thailand. The food is incredible, made from a combination of food from the garden, and fresh-made curry paste from a village down the way. The accommodation is really comfortable but not bougie. The staff are lovely (I got the sense a lot of them are family) and the guests are all SO happy. Bodie gave us so much help putting us in touch with his contacts an organising for us on be well cared for on next leg of out trip. Invaluable. Because of my experience at Bodhi's resort, I will leave this land with a genuine connection to, and love of the spirit of Thailand - the place, the people, the culture.

Nothing was too much trouble for them and someone was always on hand to answer questions and deal with any issues that arose during our stay. The rooms were very clean and located just a few steps from the beach. The beds were comfortable and the room service was prompt. Two pools are available for residents to use. I would not hesitate to stay at this resort, should I visit Sairee Beach again.

Reviewed By vannabezWe are still here. We came across this little place while looking for a place as we knew that the big hotels were going to close down. What a find!!!! This is not a 5 star resort BUT: It's clean, they have amazing food, the shower is good and the aircon works. We staying in a beach front villa. This is not the normal tipe of place that we would stay in but because of the circumstances around the Carona Virus this was worth the money for the extra stay. These people are so kind, they go out oth their way to help you no matter what. They even let us make our own food (not normally allowed) but due to what's going on they allow it. They have the best swimming beach. Our aircon have a bit of trouble and now they replacing it tomorrow. Also they a a very cute dog star!!! Pls allow him in if he comes knocking as he loves the cool aircon he battles with the heat. We love this place and will be back with our friends. I'm going to be so sad to leave here.

unique, tranquil, beautiful, no english, wish I stayed longer
Reviewed By bethocoMy husband and I stopped here for one night on our way to Khao Sak National Park, but we wish we would have stayed longer. The landscape was incredible. I wish we could have stayed another few days to sit in our hammock on the porch, walk the beatiful trails and explore more! There are vegetables and flowers and many different plants growing on the property. There were only two things people may find undesirable, which we found to be charming. The staff when we arrived did not speak English at all and we used some hand motions to communicate. Although the next morning there was a staff member who spoke with us in English to clear some things up! The second thing is that the food options are very simple/limited. I highly recommend this place!! Would stay here in a heartbeat if we ever go back to Thailand!

Great place to stay for little money
Reviewed By jitomilaWe were there for 3 nights. The cottage was small but we dont need anything, just cold place to sleep ( there was AC) and bathroom with shower. Our cottage was cleaned every day. We ate at their restaurant and food was delicious. We also rent boat with captain and they took us to island with coral reef to snorchling.

Unhelpful staff and refused to honor listed prices
Reviewed By T5004OXwilliambI attempted to book a room from October 2021 through May 2021 and was told they had no interest in booking rooms in advance as they were waiting to see what happens if the country reopens. While I understand if the country reopens to tourism they can increase their rates it seems a poor business practice to refuse to book rooms at their listed price. Their ad on Facebook marketplace is very clear about the room options and prices being offered and does not mention any expiration date for those prices. However the woman I spoke to refused to rent me a room even after I offered a deposit upfront to secure my room for an eight month stay. She didn’t even bother to offer an alternative rate or make any attempt whatsoever to accommodate my request to book a stay with them other than to say I could book at their regular rates on Booking.com. If you advertise a price then you should honor the price or you should clarify that those prices have an expiration date. Just my humble opinion but I wouldn’t choose to do business with these people given their questionable business practices and their very poor customer service

Reviewed By Go64129746753Ideal location Super friendly staff who helped us on where to eat ! The room was clean however the bathroom shower leaked . The beach is very close by walking distance. If you are interested in hiring a motorcycle then the hotel will be able to sort it for you which is really helpful.

After a few days on a beautiful beach in a safe and inviting environment, I felt myself relax. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms, comfortable and clean. Food - great. The beach - paradise. I extended my two week stay to three weeks, and have already booked to return in October.

Reviewed By stephaniehK7154OLWe are a family of three with a young baby. The bungalows are very comfortable. I don't think the photos on booking.com do the resort justice. Everything was spotless. Klaus and his wife, the hosts were very helpful and friendly. Klaus even went out of his way to find a mattress for our travel cot. If you want to stay slightly away from the jungle and in more comfortable accommodation than jungle huts then I would not hesitate to recommend Jasmine Garden Resort. The resort is still within easy walking distance of the national park and restaurants.
