The staff were lovely, the pool was just the right temperature with places to sit and lounge in the sun and shade against the backdrop of the roaring waves. The breakfast was top quality, both the Sri Lankan and the other cooked breakfast options. There are only 5 rooms in the hotel so it felt very tranquil and never any competition to use the gym, pool table or get the best loungers. Conveniently located between Galle, Mirissa and Weligama beach.

EKA is located only 10 minutes from the Southern Expressway exit and 15 minutes to the famous World Heritage Site, Galle Fort. We are also centrally located to the best cafes and restaurants in the region.

Reviewed By vauclusesGuesthouse of 4 bedrooms, really cozy that make you feel at home. Located beachfront, gorgeous ! So relaxing ! We even saw turtles swimming. It is not easy to swim as they are a lot of waves but my boyfriend still manage to swim 100 meters from the hotel. There is one beach where you can easily swim 5 mins walk from the hotel. Restaurants area and Unawatuna main beach are 20 mins walk from the guesthouse. If you don t want to walk as roads are crazy in Sri Lanka, you can take tuk tuk as they are everywhere and cheap. Breakfast is amazing, the best we had in Sri Lanka. Staff is very nice. I can only recommend. Special thanks to Andree, the owner who was really helpful and very caring and friendly.

We offer 3 lovely luxury bungalows in a garden setting around an inviting pool. Each bungalow has a lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and en suite, as well as a large veranda where you can relax just steps away from the pool.

Reviewed By Grace HHuge thanks for our fantastic stay at Thalpe Bungalows. Incredibly clean, beautiful rooms, private and quiet, delicious breakfasts, perfect for our family. Murray was great to liaise with and Dush & Lata looked after us so well. I love that they even provided a mosquito net for our baby’s travel cot. They made sure we felt safe and looked after even with the state-controlled power cuts. If you’re in Thalpe, there’s really no better place. Thank you!!!

Reviewed By billydevThis was our first visit to Sri Lanka and we had fully researched the area and our 'wish list' of things to do before we visited. Jacks B & B is set in delightful grounds with a superb swimming pool (which Jim tends to lovingly)! The wildlife in the garden is spectacular - monkeys, exotic birds, etc in abundance! The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk away (which was one of the reasons that we booked and which only added to our experience). The walk from literally the jungle down through the village, over the railway line filled us with joy each day. The residents of the village were friendly and welcoming with huge smiles and good mornings for us. Once reaching the main Matara Road there are numerous beach clubs/hotels in both directions to spend the day/visit for a meal in the evening with Unawatuna and Habaraduwa only a short tuk tuk ride away. Our accommodation included a lovely four poster bed with mosquito net, ceiling fan, air conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom with walk in shower was enormous. Everything was spotlessly clean with the room cleaned, towels, pool towels and bedding changed daily if required. Now to the owners of Jack's B & B - Jacky and Jim. We cannot praise them highly enough. They are both extremely professional but with personal touches where appropriate. They go above and beyond for their guests - sharing their expert advice of the area, arranging airport transfers, tuk tuks, cookery classes, etc, nothing is too much trouble. They both totally enhanced our experience and we cannot thank them enough. We are already planning our return trip!

Newly opened Villa South is located 200 m from unspoiled Talpe beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on South Coast. We offer 7 rooms with all amenities, villa is situated in the garden with swimming pool away from busy Galle Fort and Unawatuna are just minutes drive away. Guests can practice yoga in the garden or jion classes in famous Yoga Shala-7 min. by tuk tuk.

Le petit déjeuner ainsi que le diner que nous avons pris à la villa south étaient parfaits et très complets. Les chambres étaient très propres et la salle de bain l'était tout autant, la piscine au milieu des palmiers et des bambous rend le lieu encore plus paradisiaque. L'accueil de la propriétaire et de toute l'équipe fut aussi très chaleureux. Nous avons eu la chance d'être conduits en tuktuk tout le séjour par un membre de l'équipe et un autre super chauffeur ( Suresh : +94 (77) 902 1337 ) si vous souhaitez le contacter, il nous a suivi sur ce séjour et conseillé, le tout pour des tarifs plus que raisonnables, très bon point bonus. En bref, aucune déception sur la villa et sur ce lieu, encore merci pour ce séjour.

Rooms are not modern but for sleep is good enough. Sanath the owner was the best tour guide ever, we were discovered with him and our driver Amal many many great and famus place in Sri Lanka (Yala national park, Kandy, Sigiriya, beach party with his friends!!!) he was organised for us private tuk-tuk service with a speedy gonzales Lucky driver :) Definitely we will be back! It was a great fun for 4 of us.

Reviewed By Z8821KP_Приятные хозяева, отличные большие завтраки. Номер большой, чистый, пастельное белье свежее, огромные полотенца, шампуни, гели и тд, вай-Фай бесплатный. Далеко от пляжа (минут 25-35 спокойным шагом) и так же далеко от всех местных кафе, но можно заказать еду у хозяев. А так же рядом проходит железна дорога, что достаточно громко. Если вы любите поспать подольше - в этом отеле этого сделать не удасться.
