Posee un jardín hermoso con plantas nativas de la zona, una fogata en forma de chacana y una pequeña granja de gallinas, un burro y pesca deportiva... Cuenta con 3 habitaciones, dos habitaciones con vista panorámica del volcán Antisana, cuentan con calefacción infrarroja, cómodas camas de dos plazas y media y sofa cama. Una combi adecuada para habitation de dos personas, aislada térmicamente, baño seco y calefacción de piso radiante. Las habitaciones cuentan con vidrio doble cámara y baños privados, agua caliente...

Reviewed By MissAnnaCashThey absolutely nailed it. It feels warm and friendly and natural, but with a modern, artsy flair: exactly the right balance between boutique-y and lodge-cosy. The interior and finishings are considered to the last detail. The food is fan.tas.tic, and the hosts bend over backwards for their guests. The rooms have spectacular views, and there’s a bonfire when it’s cold out. The location? Surrounded by mountains and a 4 minute walk from the thermal baths. Ideal. It’s the only place you want to stay in Papallacta. By far the best place I stayed in Ecuador.

Reviewed By James MBrilliant experience! Both the hostel and tours were great. The room was fantastic and felt much better than the "hostel" tag. The kayak tour we did was also great and adjusted to suit me as an experienced kayakers with my partner who had not done very much before. Tony was very passionate about conservation and runs a great company! Fantastic all round.

We are people people, a US emergency room nurse and an Ecuadorian guide, teamed up and turned HOTEL OWNERS and TOUR PROVIDERS in the Amazon. What does this mean for you? Comfort in the jungle and quality tours! The hotel reflects what we wanted for ourselves and experienced in other places around the world. The rooms are clean and spacious, 150 sq ft (14 sq m) or greater. The showers are hot and the water is purified throughout (you can brush your teeth with our water!) There are screens on the windows and fans in every room. There’s a big common kitchen to cook your own food in or just be able to hang out in. That in combination with a helping hand to get you up to speed on the area will smooth your transition to maximize the time you have here in this little corner of the world. Come see us!, Gary Garces and Michelle Klein We have 6 private rooms, all have at least a double bed. One also has a single bed, one also has a bunkbed, and one is 310 sq ft with 5 beds and a huge bathroom!b

Reviewed By SnorkelfoodieI was able to work remotely here. They have good water to drink, clean kitchen and it was a peaceful area yet close enough to walk into town if You choose. Gary, will take You out into the jungle over night or for a day trip. You will see a lot of wildlife, a butterfly farm, traditional farming, and night time frog. don't forget to pack a long sleeve cotton shirt, and if You have larger than size 12 (U.S.) feet bring boots.

The reasons were following: - Extremly helpfull staff, even in Ecuador were a lot of people are really nice, this family ist special! Through there is no ATM, we could PayPal them some money and they gave us some bare. - the rooms are really good. Comfy bed, loads of blankets, a heat, very warm showers (after 2min), a small table with chair (in every room) and a small nice light next to the bed (which WE missed so often in Ecuador) - very fast WiFi - Tasty breakfast! (It's a buffet!) - Just behind the hostal is a public Spa - surroundet by nice small restaurants/minimarts

Reviewed By yakermaryFantastic place to stay. They updated the rooms and are modern and comfortable with hot water. Meals were prepared well and were delicious. They also updated the trails and easy access to the RIo MIshaulli. Pool was clean and COvid Protocols were in place. I enjoyed coming back here.

Private parking is free. Rooms at Tena Naui may feature shared or private bathrooms with warm water showers. Rooms with tree Wi-Fi, garden and mountain views can be booked. No smoking is allowed in the hotel. Guests can make use of the common kitchen facilities for an extra fee. Tena's commercial area is 1 km away and the beach circuit is 2 km from the hotel. Jumandy Airport is 50 km away.
Incredible views, lovely nature, fantastic hostel
Reviewed By Sven_goran_eriksonReally fantastic hostel. Some reviews criticize the location but the location is incredible with 10/10 views. It's only 500 metres from the road or a $1.50 taxi from the city centre. Our room (Yura) had an incredible view I'd expect to pay $100 for, not $15. Great kitchen, nice gardens and lounge, small bar, laundry service, real hostel info about the whole region available, book library. All in all, one of the best places we've stayed in south America in 4+ months. Posted January 2022!

Reviewed By quiteniaEl lugar es increíble, su paisaje es bellísimo. Despertar con la tranquilidad de la selva y al filo del río garantiza el descanso de la mente. Desde el ventanal de la habitación pudimos ver una familia de monos chichico trepando por un árbol cercano, a demás el canto de las aves y sonido del agua. La piscina individual a solo un paso de la habitación es perfecta para refrescarse. El restaurante ofrece excelente comida y muy variada. Te reciben con una bebida refrescante y atención de primera. Volveré en mis próximas vacaciones.

Hidden paradise, a beach into jungle
Reviewed By XiaolincitaA hidden paradise, around 3 hours from Quito. The owners are super kind, the food is traditional and gourmet. We are here during a holiday but there is not crowd or noise... Very relaxing place with a lot of activities (hikking in the jungle, birdwatching, games, enjoy the beach next to river, fire in the beach, movies atención open area, hammocks, free coffee and a lot more activities)... Lovely place!!!

What an incredible place!
Reviewed By 222cliffcJust spent two weeks with Riverpeople and it's proprietors, the Dent family. Brothers Alex and Tim along with their wives and parents attended to our every whim graciously and without hesitation. Raft, kayak, jungle tours, mtn bike, hike... totally incredible with nice cabins with private shower, a pool, game room with pool, foosball, a bar, and great food!!
