Reviewed By Yulia GThs restaurant is on the road to Kamyanets, on the border of Khmelnitskyi. Very reasonableprices have they, comfortable rooms, very clean. And also very tasty restaurant with great summer menu. I advise to eat everything from this specil menu. Also meat dishes are very good.

Огромная кровать и так много места. Решили вернутся в этот отель на обратном пути из Буковели. Кстати нам посоветовали очень вкусную доставку еды. Спросите на ресепшене.

Extremely Hospitable Hosts - Can't Ask for More
Reviewed By dr_stinkyGrand Canyon guesthouse is located in the Old Town, near the edge towards the bridge towards the New Town. Getting from the bus or train station is not difficult. Google Maps has the directions installed (though the timings are not accurate!). One can take mashrutka no 7 from the train station, or both 1 and 7 from the bus station (but take a short walk from the bus station to the main road). Alternatively, it is also possible to walk about 2-3km from the bus station, downhill so it's not too bad if you're travelling light. The accom itself is modern and very comfortable. It comprises of the main building, and 2 standalones - I got 1 room at the standalone building. For the price, I can't see how one can get a much better deal. It is located a pleasant 10 minutes walk to the castle, through the Old Town. What makes Grand Canyon stand out is the hospitality. Despite speaking no English, the hosts were very nice. I was supposed to stay for just 1 night, but on the second day was supposed to get an overnight train from KP to Kiev. When the host understood that (thanks to Google Translate), she shared that she had no guest occupying my room that night, and thus invited me to leave my baggage in the room for the day, whilst I headed over to Khotyn Fortress. Because of this, I was able to find a place to rest after my day trip, shower and even sleep for a bit before continuing my journey to the train station and beyond. Just before I left, I offered some compensation for overstaying but the host flat out rejected it. It was very nice of her and I did appreciate that very much (I did leave a tip behind in the room thereafter). Other interesting to-knows: - Breakfast is reasonable, and the dining area does indeed overlook the canyon, which was nice (but admittedly not spectacular) - There is a grocery store just 2-3 mins walk from the accommodation - There are also some restaurants around the area, so no fear about food - Safety wise, I had no concerns - in fact, both the Old and New Town of KP seemed very safe to me in general. Would highly recommend the place!

Reviewed By Maris ZIn principle, the price was relatively adequate. On the downside, the rooms didn't have wifi, only hotels public teritory near main building. The rooms were arranged in rebuilt cabins or similar overconstructed transport structures that isn't really suitable for living. For people taller than 1.60cm, using the toilet and shower was problematic. A tiring climb from the hotel up to the city. The driveway quality to hotel right from the start makes you question whether it is really worth breaking a car to go to this place. Positive - one of the most outstanding ethnographic style exteriors I have seen in Ukraine. The staff is in a hurry to resolve any problems - we immediately got change of room after problems with toilet. Quiet retreat by the river. Because of the cool air of the river in the canyon the quality of sleep was excellent. Staff very helpful. Especially the cute young girl, who provided meals for our group on arrival day and even after a long day cleaned hotel in the evening. It's good to know that at least someone cares about the hotel.

Worth considering
Reviewed By borysb9It is mostly about location for me. For my half it was about pool and sauna. All three are flawless. Most competitors are directly overlooking the central street, so must be much more noisy. Only one, and rather funny, flaw during my stay was the fact, that canalisation discharge pipe from above rooms was located (inside the wall, of course) near my pillow, obviously covered by something not thicker than a cardboard. So at the night, everytime one of my neighbors above flushed their toilet, I had have a dream about a flood or rafting :)

Reviewed By WitoldzioRooms are big and clean and the place is quiet and er affordable, although the building seems to go on forever and it takes a while to figure it out. You will be given option for breakfast menu and be prepared to make a good decision about this already at check-in. The hotel is very close to Polski Rynok and all the old town attractions. I had a good time here, although my driver complained that his room was facing east and it was fully lit by sunlight by 5am. Ask for a room not facing East.

Reviewed By jane nСлучайно решили остановится в этом отеле и не пожалели. Отель находится дальше от дороги и благодаря этому можно было насладиться тишиной. Номера тёплые, чистые с мелкими штуками, которые так необходимы в путешествии. Например, штопор, нож, доска, чашки, чай и т.д. Также в номере был холодильник. Сам номер просторный и цена вообще не высокая. Персонал хороший. Территория закрыта, везде есть видеонаблюдение. Возле отеля есть место для машины.
