Reviewed By Ren604The only hotel in Aus, and it far exceeded expectations. This is a great value. Rooms are simple but extremely clean. The restaurant, terrace, bar, and beer garden are all fantastic. Vegetarian food options available on the menu. Secure parking behind the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful - they seem happy to be there and it shows. In autumn, it was cold in the room at night so we were glad for the small heater and extra blankets. Central heating is rare in this area.

They even phoned when they were worried about the whereabouts of our group, that went to see the Fish river canyon sunset. Extremely caring of them. The best stay on your way to the Kalahari!!

Reviewed By RoamTheReachesWe stayed here for two nights while in Lüderitz and loved it. From the incredibly comfortable bed to the small kitchenette, the room perfectly met our needs. Breakfast was tasty and we appreciated that hot options that were cooked to order. Our favorite part, by far, was the gorgeous waterfront view from pretty much everywhere on the property. Spectacular! The staff were all very nice and helpful. While the wifi signal was weak in our room, it was strong enough in reception and on the porch not to be an issue. An excellent spot to relax in Lüderitz.

The last and smallest room is ideal for the person seeking quality at the lowest possible rate. It has a coffee station and ensuite bathroom facilities. All rooms are equipped with Satelite TV, fridges and safes.There is a communal kitchen on the premises, free wi-fi, free laundry services, safe parking and indoor braai facilities.

I was on my way to the Nakop border post having been on a motorcycle trip through Namibia. Supper needed advance notice because the meat is frozen, and breakfast was extra - two important aspects for bikers. If you want to run a "hotel" as opposed to self-catering, I would suggest you lift the meal side of your game. Other than that, the room was clean and quiet - perfect stopover rest.

Obelix Guesthouse offers a homely environment, where our guest feel welcome and at ease. Scrumptious home - cooked meals and ample to eat. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Our receptionist is fully clued up with all the sight seeing in and around the area. Luderitz has enough to offer the guest to keep them busy for 4 whole days.

Reviewed By uli390Haus Sandrose is a cozy place to stay in Luderitz - comfortable, quality beds and linen, nice equipment, friendly service. Parking in the street is a slight disadvantage, but in over ten year's of frequent visiting we never had any issues.

Reviewed By jangK3137RBOn our journey from Fish River Canyon to the Naukluft mountains we were looking for a place to stay overnight. On the internet we found a reference to the oldest hotel in Namibia. Bethany Guest House. Reviews on Tripadvisor didn't tell us much, but that was undoubtedly due to the difficult quiet Covid time. One more reason to visit this hotel. And we are not disappointed, unfortunately it was still quiet but we were very warmly welcomed by Inge, the owner of the charming hotel with excellent rooms. She told us with pleasure about the history of the guesthouse and we got a tour through the building. In the evening, after a lovely shower, we were welcomed at the fireplace for a nice drink with Lambert and Dorette, Inge's daughter. They live on the game farm Umub to which we were invited directly and where you can hunt and have a gamedrive. What followed was a fine dinner and a wonderful night in our room. We look back with great pleasure on our stay here with these very friendly people.
