We missed them so much. You can experience having a new family and the best dinner in the world (I wish my wife never read this section of my comment). They offer us to had dinner with them and we accepted but it is not an ordinary dinner I think it was a magical table with the best foods and wines and best people in the world we started dinner from 10 pm but when we wanted to go for sleep it was 3 am and it was 5hours that I wish everybody have chance to experience. They were so helpful We had a normal room reservation but they offer us a better room with a balcony with same price, next day I suddenly sit on the bed and bed broke (believe me it is usual for me I have some superhero power to breaking and wrecking everything) I was so upset about this because this time it happens in another place, the place I loved it. But they only said to me: "don't worry my friend" and they offer us a better room again!! with no extra cost... the second day we go wine tour that they offer us with our new friends that we met in the guesthouse for the first time (three nice and beautiful polish women). and last day when we wanted to buy a ticket for coming back to Tbilisi they said to us: "go for walk and enjoy and come back at 3:30 pm, I buy a ticket for 4 pm and I drive you to bus station)

Reviewed By swedishadventurerKvareli Lake resort is a hidden pearl in the Khaketi Region and has some amazing views of the Kvareli Lake. The resort itself is super clean and both the interior of the rooms are really nice. The beds are very comfy and the views from the rooms are great over the Khaketi Valley. The breakfast is huge and the Corona-security is very strict which I like. The reeception girls Lulu and Tamara were so cute and helpful- the check in and check out very smoothly. The breakfast girl Katrine was also very sweet. You can be sure to enjoy your time at this fantastic place with the green natures and lakes as your closest neighbour. Now to the worst and best part. I had an accident and my phone fell into the lake. I was nearly drowning while trying to get my phone phone at the bottom of the lake. There are angels on this Mother Earth and they are called Dimitri and Lela together with many more who all tried to help me as best as they could to get my phone back. They actually got some firemen divers from Tbilisi to help me dive after my phone. For a travelblogger as me, it is a disaster to loose the phone BUT I will never and ever forget how all these fantastic people at Kvareli Lake helped me in every possible way. Unfortunately the phone was never found but Dimitri helped and the security guy Jimi helped me to get a new one in the middle of the night, just to satisfy me. I will NEVER forget this! And I will for sure be back! Until next time!

You feel like you are in a castle. Also took advantage of the spa and had a great massage at a reasonable price. Staff was nice. Good breakfast.

Reviewed By 258avnersStay away from this hotel The Owner of the hotel is Cheater liar and crook, very bad hotel shocking rooms beds and mattresses that can not sleep on, everything is old and dilapidated, bad smell in the rooms broken toilets, no elevator no heating we checked almost all the rooms in the hotel and this is the situation in everyone. of course we refused to stay and left The owner slandered us theat We stole towels contacted the police and forced us to pay the order including towels which of course we did not touch. Be careful and warn others

Reviewed By Tammy2124We had the most amazing stay with Nato and her lovely family. They took such good care of us and were very welcoming hosts. They kindly shared food and wine with us and taught us so much about Georgian culture and about the local wine region. They really went above and beyond. Their guesthouse is easy to find and well located. Our room was spacious and super clean, and they have a nice covered terrace to relax on. We couldn’t have had a better stay! They also arranged a fantastic day trip to some wineries and historical sites for us. Goga was our tour guide and driver and he took us to some beautiful spots in the valley and was a wealth of information! He is from Sighnaghi and knew everything about the region! We learned so much, drank some of the best wine we’ve ever tasted, and had an awesome day! Can’t recommend Nato’s guesthouse enough! We are so grateful to Nato, her whole family, and Goga for showing us a wonderful time!

Hotel Tela is located in the very centre of city Telavi, Kakheti, just 3 minutes away from Erekle II caste and Historical museum. Hotel has its own vineyard located in the village Napareuli, from where every autumn harvest is delivered directly to Hotel Tela's wine cellar. 3 types of natural traditional Georgian wine is made and kept in Tela's cellar, where guests can taste it. On 3rd floor there is terrace with amazing view on Caucasus mountains and Alazani valley. Georgian dishes are served there.

Great location-central part of the city and very nice neighborhood, fantastic view from the terrace and I have to mention, really delicious food and wine "Mareli".Generous and nicely served breakfast. I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Telavi. We loved our stay there. Very welcoming and helpful staff. They gave us recommendations about the places of interest and organized a taxi. Rooms are quite big and bright, very clean. Breakfast was great. We also had dinner on the terrace and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

Their guesthouse is fascinating and worth a stay just to see the creativity that they continue to pour into it. The view of the mountains is spectacular. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable for the 6 nights we were there. 5 stars, for sure!

A nice place a little "old fashioned"!
Reviewed By marekp59We stayed there for one night in travel to Kachetia.The hostess was very hospitable. The homemade wine and chacha are served from morning. Very conveniently located terrace with dining area surrounded by a very well-kept garden full of flowers. The furniture is quite old, in the style of the second half of the 20th century, but everything is clean and tidy.
