Still a great stay!

Reviewed By SamMMM17

It was my first time staying at Hotel Graphy in over 5 years and it's still a wonderful experience. The staff are super and the small touches like daily welcome drink, fully stocked communal kitchen, roof lounge, etc. we still great. My one minor complaint is that the breakfast was much better in the past. I would previously go just for the breakfast when I was in the area.

⁣ Lake Kawakuchi is one of the best spots to view Mount Fuji. The Kukuna offers a great view of Mount Fuji from the room and also the hot spring. Super relaxing! However, the staffs were a bit cold.⁣

Seafood, Onsen and caring staff

Reviewed By cranapple5

The hotel is across from Sakaiminato JR station, about a 50min (cute) train ride from Yonago. The area has one of the largest ports known for snow crabs and all sorts of fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan. Visitors enjoy the crab markets in the area and seafood restaurants on a street with the theme of comic creatures by Muzuki Shigeru, a famous cartoonist from the area. This hotel itself was amazing. It was spotless, and every details from Ikebana flower arrangement to comfortable room with all sorts of amenities made us feel welcome. For foreign travelers they had a handout in English explaining their system. This enabled the foreign guests take full advantage of what the hotel offered. The top floor had natural Onsen hot spring baths with water so soothing to the skin. All necessary amenities were prepared by the hotel. The breakfast was known for create-yourself-Chirashi sushi and all the spread at the buffet with Japanese and western foods. Again the seafood here was so fresh. What made this hotel so special was the staff. Their hospitality was genuine, and showed they care. They made us feel like we came back to a home away from home. Definitely worth the experience.

Budget hotel in an Awesome location!

Was staying in Hotel M's Est Shijo Karasuma in Kyoto from 13-16 Jan 2020. The location is simply awesome, like 3 min walk from the 2 nearest stations, Shijo and Karasuma station & 7 mins walk to Nishiki Market. Juz so u know, there’re plenty of nice restaurants or eateries in the surrounding area. The room although small (Norm is Japan), is designed rather cozy & look pretty new too (maybe gd maintenance). I like the fact that there’re hangers in the room for us to hang clothes (which is not always available in many hotels). The bed was fine, I requested for lower pillows & my request was acceded. The AC / heater system was also working perfectly. The room was always kept clean and tidy. The staff were friendly & helpful too. The WiFi is fine too, totally no problem surfing Youtube @ all, even in the showers. Ultimately, I think this is still a gd hotel for those on a short sojourn & is looking for convenience in locations. Wld definitely come back here if I return to Kyoto!

Onsen Paradise Hotel Review

This hotel is located just beside the entrance to the Jikokudani and is around 5 mins walk from the bus station crossing the onsen street. As I am travelling solo, thus the room I could get is western room and it looks like recently renovated. My room plan also included Japanese Kaiseki dinner which is good and buffet breakfast in the morning. Note that the hotel offer other room plan too, such as Japanese room with dinner serving in a restaurant or in room. There are also plan for buffet dinner too. Even without meal plan for your room, the hotel does have other restaurants or you could always find something at the onsen street. This hotel has a very big onsen bath overlooking the Jikokudani: Grand Bath with 5 different spring waters and a total of 35 different baths for male and female, indoor and outdoor. There is also a pool for kids under the grand bath. For onsen lover, this is indeed an onsen paradise, which I have spent about 1 hr+ X 2 visits! This is definitely a great hotel for onsen lover!

Exceeded my expectations!

Reviewed By Dcuniverse

We were looking for a "value hotel" and got a great deal from a travel site.. booked this hotel at more than HALF THE PRICE of similar hotels in Namba and nearby Universal Studios Japan. At this price, we were not expecting too much (just the basics and adequate comfort ). We were blown away as this hotel exceeded all our expectations ! It's located very near Sakurajima Station. Travelling from Kansai Airport to the hotel is a breeze, with just 1 quick transfer . The stations have elevators so its very convenient. You can easily wheel your luggage to and from the station to the hotel. Location is also within walking distance to USJ and a Ferry Service which will take you to the Osaka Aquarium. As mentioned, its readily accessible by Train. (as low as 190 yen or $1.70 one way fare to Namba/Dotonburi area) After a tiring day from walking all around Osaka, we would stop by one of the 2 nearby convenience stores (Lawson and 7-11) to grab some midnight snacks (or for breakfast). Or, you may just head straight to the hotel and get snacks from it's 3 vending machines. They even have an ice cube dispenser with cups. Grab some free amenities at the lobby on your way up..must haves are the Sakura Bath Powders for a hot dip in our room's bath tub to sooth our aching feet and muscles. Water Closet is very high tech and one the i would only expect from a 5 star hotel (in fact the 5 star hotels I've been to don't have this) La'gent really made us feel its our home away from home.

I went to Konansou appox. December 2018 for my Honeymoon trip. I can confidently say that staying in Konansou was definitely the highlight of my honeymoon trip. I got a japanese tatami room, facing the lovely Kawaguchiko, and ot was so comfortable. The service was excellent too, the service you would expect from Japanese Hospitality. The kaiseki dinner was amazing. They have a rooftop where they have a foot onsen, with a clear view of Mount Fuji. We got lucky that we could see the mountain clearly. The onsen was superb too, the perfect way to end the night. It was a really awesome experience. I would stay again for sure at Konansou.
