Reviewed By Katrb12The hotel staff is extremely friendly! They were so nice and allowed us to checkout late with no problem. The rooms were simple and clean, no air conditioning but you don't need it in this region as the natural breeze and climate keeps the rooms cool and comfortable! Breakfast is at a nearby restaurant and is a well made traditional Colombia breakfast,(eggs, arepas, pan and your choose of coffee or hot chocolate!) They offer free and fast wifi. And are located in the main square so its easy to go explore the city, see the zocolas or find a mototaxi to the nearby Penon de Guatape! I will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone comimg to Guatape!

Reviewed By vextropkWell, in my humble point of point, the only good think of this hotel, is the receptionist, a really helpful and charming lady. Apart from her, the rest is bad. First of all, the hotel doesn´t have parking place but it´s written in its website the hotel does have; deceitful. The beds mattresses, toilets walls, and other kind of hotel equipment is old and not so good. I think the owner of that place should invest more in his/her business. The location is good and workers are ok, but the rest is not. I don’t recommend the place to anyone.

Sleep on the Moon and enjoy the private Jacuzzi! The moon is for 2 people, it is equipped with a 1.9m diameter mattress, thermal blankets and pillows, connection to energy and light, 3 meters from the moon is the Jacuzzi, private bathroom with hot shower and shelves for suitcases. The stay includes entry and exit by boat, breakfast, movie with popcorn, bonfire with marshmallows, guided walk and use of kayaks and rowboats to enjoy the lake.

Reviewed By Jose MThe place is really clean, the owners are nice couple, they really make you feel comfortable, we had the massage (30 USD/per person) and was the best decision ever, I highly recommend to take it, another little secret: don't have lunch there(it's not bad but is just a sandwich), you can walk like 100 meters down and find another hotel called Pietra Santa with a delicious and cheap buffet you can buy, that will definitely improve your experience, enjoy !

It is located right under Piedra del Piñol. In the morning we sat on the terrace for an hour and admired the view and listened to the birds. Beautiful panorama. A huge plus, in the morning you can walk to the Piedra and be there before all the tourists. The room is clean, has everything you need. Air conditioning is not needed, cool at night. In the morning, a pleasant woman prepares breakfast. Everything is fresh and tasty. You can always have coffee and tea at the reception. All the staff are very friendly and always helpful. The city can be reached day and night on motochivos. 100% recommend

You can hire floating romantic dinners, ride on the floating deck, jetski, ski, relaxing massage, picnic and donut.

Reviewed By Monty SAfter having postponed our trip to Guatape twice due to Covid we finally spent our holidays in Hotel Pietrasanta in October. This place is like heaven - completely remote (accessible only by boat), quiet with pure air. Relax, read a book, go walking, enjoy the view, play one of the games, do canoeing or swimming or just have a nice conversation with your beloved ones. We booked two "cabanas bungalow" and one "cabana flotante". The latter is definitely a highlight and don't worry the small house only sways when a boat arrives (which is very seldom). Another highlight is the staff. Every person is so friendly and tries to fulfill every wish. A special thanks to the kitchen crew. Having two vegeterian in the family is not very common in Colombia and therefore not easy to cope with. Yet, every single dish was very tasteful and delicious! Thanks Claudia for these lovely days in Guatape! Highly recommeded!

Reviewed By 799philoBeautiful little hotel dead centre in the middle of the town awesome for pics and access to the town square.Rooms are small but adequate hot showers and we had a balcony view of the umbrella street.We had a twin room and noticed some bugs in the bed nearest the widow which ment we slept i the second with our clothes on the night we stayed,staff are friendly but the noise is very bad between room to room you can here every thing! lmao EVERYTHING ! Breakfast is served off site about a 5 min walk from the hotel this is not ideal but is it what it is ! Breakfast was fine ,nothing special , but adequate also

Reviewed By Barbarroja79This hotel offer the basics for a simply stay in Guatape, with a good and quiet location near the lake, interesting downtown places and restaurants. It doesn't have restaurant and parking space, but the place is neat and the owner, Bertha, she's very kind and helpfully whatever and whenever do you need. Not recommended for people who has mobility restrictions (wheelchair I.e.) because all rooms are located in 2nd or 3rd floor, without elevator available.

Reviewed By Wallace BI stayed here with my girlfriend for a couple of days to visit the nearby attractions it is in a very pretty town with lots to do. But I recommend eating early in the evening because food is hard to get much later. The staff here are very helpful and the rooms are cosy, comfortable and very clean with TV and free wifi.

It has 22 comfortable rooms, equipped with: Private bathroom, hot water, satellite TV, Wireless internet, thermal blanket, double beds, single beds. The hotel is located in one of the most representative streets of the municipality of Guatapé, such as Araucarias street or Calle de los enamorados, half a block from the boardwalk and the reservoir, in the 27th road No 31-30.
Good location, but day staff should improve their service
Reviewed By Linda FThe hotel is very well located, near the malecon, several restaurants and downtown. reasonable price for what they offer. The rooms are very small. The administrator in charge during the day was very harsh and with zero knowledge about customer service, however, the guy in charge overnight was very friendly and supportive in every matter. The place can be very noisy if big groups are hosted there.
