Reviewed By WstrawberryNice hotel, rooms are fine, maybe a little dated but staff were mostly very good, we did have good communication beforehand about a late night check in. There’s good breakfast selection. We did like the bar that was attached to the hotel. It’s in a quiet area, approx 20 min taxi to down town Amman.

Reviewed By Myo MApart from a nice-enough room (space to move around comfortably and also bigger rooms for higher prices) and a "pretty good" breakfast, what I'll remember most about staying at this hotel is having met the "excellent manager" of the place to whom I'll always be grateful for my 3 wonderful day tours at "reasonable prices" in the hotel car driven by him (the first to Jerash & Royal Automobile Museum, the second to Mount Nebo & the Dead Sea, and the third to the "3 desert castles" to the east) and who also provided additional great services (obtaining the Jett bus ticket to Petra, transport to that bus station in the early morning & finally transport to the Airport upon checkout for leaving the country). So yes, the "best part" of staying at this hotel for anyone, I would say, will be meeting its manager (thank you so very much, Hani). And with that being said, another nice thing about this hotel I was quite pleased by is its location in the vicinity of the Old Town (just about a 5-minute walk to the right after coming down from this hotel) with plenty of miscellaneous shops including restaurants & small grocery places, and yes also located at a very short taxi ride from this hotel (just 5 minutes or so) is the city's "number-one site" which is the Citadel (with also another great site which is the Roman Amphitheater pretty much right at the bottom of the Citadel hill).

Reviewed By GerrySA-57We have not stayed at Rafi, but we were 2 weary travelers who happened upon the hotel in search of tea. The manager invited us in and although he was closed due to COVID, proceeded to serve us tea and allowed us to rest in his lounge for a while. He then would take NO payment. If this is the type of kindness and hospitality he offers, we will certainly consider staying at Rafi is we return to Amman in the future. Thank you again for your luv and kindness

Great hidden gem in the Amman bustle

This place is perfect, located in a local hip area near rainbow street full of cafes,galleries and restaurants. There are several suites with great view over part of Amman. Communication and hospitality were great and felt like being in a private studio. Parking is free, easy on the street. The hotel is on a road that can be busy but becomes quiet at night apart for the early morning prayers that echo around. There is a small kitchen and fridge if needed.

Emplacement idéal car dans un quartier branché et agréable à vivre: restaurants, boulangeries, supermarchés, banques - tout est à côté. Parking privé est un grand plus pour Amman! Centre ville - 10 minutes à pied. Chambres spacieuses et propres. Salle à manger et salle de bain est à partager avec d’autres habitants, mais Yassan s’arrange à louer les chambres de telle manière que vous n’avez jamais des voisins. Cuisine parfaitement équipée: four, micro-onde, frigo, lavabo, vaisselle, fer à repasser… On se sens comme à la maison. Il y a la Clim dans la chambre, mais nous ne sommes jamais servis car Dali House se situe sur une colline et l’air circule bien. Il faisait toujours frais.

OK for the money
Reviewed By qqq12345As others have said, this place needs a serious revamp. We changed rooms following our first nights stay which we arrived for at 1am so didnt want a fuss at that time. However during that night & in the morning we noticed amongst other things the bathroom door handle hanging off to such an extent that the "turning bar" could easily have fallen out & you'd be locked in, the curtain rail hanging down & hence the cutain not covering the window, stains (blood??) on the sheet, cigarette burns on the sheets & in the bathroom plus the shower screen was not too pleasant with a considerable amount of mould & stains. The next morning however, the lady at reception, without us saying anything, immediately stated that the night guy had put us in the wrong room & that she wanted us to move rooms to a "better one". Whilst this one was significantly better without many of the issues listed above, the bathroom again had stains around the shower screen & taps. The breakfast were very good & apart from them serving hot milk for my tea, thoroughly enjoyed it. Good location, good & free WIFI & OK for the money once the room was changed.
