Located exactly at one of the best surf spots for beginners - nice waves with sandy bottom, so there isn't a risk of getting hurt by falling off board and into rocks. The hotel had a great reseraunt with ocean view, a nice area for relaxing and a pool. Stayed for 3 weeks, would love to visit again.

Reviewed By Carl TDream Sea er et dejligt hotel, ikke bare for surfere. Det ligger nærmest i vandkanten og har smuk, skyggefuld have med kølende pool til afveksling fra det varme saltvand. Restauranten byder på lækker morgenmad med masser af frugt og velsmag. Også frokostretterne er lokale og lækre. Værelserne er store, flotte og med velfungerende AC og egen balkon, hvorfra man kan nyde den formidable havudsigt.

Reviewed By PatrickD642The original plan was to stay at Eco Villa for only 2 nights and because we loved the place we ended up staying there for 6 nights. The host is so friendly and will make everything to please you. The rooms are very clean with AC, hot water and great WIFI. Also, the breakfast is generous and food. We will come back !

Les chambres sont magnifiquement décorées, le confort est incroyable et la salle de bain, un bijou. Stéphane le propriétaire est une personne à cœur grand qui donne à ce lieu une énergie unique. Asanka, Janaka et Vasanka sont des personnes formidables, accueillants et aux petit soins. Nous recommandons ce lieu à 200%, mille mercis, nous reviendrons !

place has lot of potential but needs a small renovation. no TV and no chef.
Reviewed By rahulkarnavatthis place is very well designed but needs a small touch up renovation. the pros nice pool and beautiful outdoor seating areas very nice staff. special shout out to uday and the young boy who always runs to u whenever u want him. cosy small hotel perfect for less crowds location is in between mirissa and galle so u can reach both destinations. very large room and bathroom and good outside seating. the cons no chef on premises the place is painted white but everywhere it is all stained. there are like a million ants and insects in the bathroom and some even in the room. the toilet is open and has curtains which fly all over when u shower. the curtain cannot be left open as next door can peep in. place has lot of potential but needs full time chef and a nice clean down and enclosing the bathroom. tanujha the manager tried to help us a lot but small renovation is much needed. would love to come back after the renovation.

Heavenly experience on top of a hill
Reviewed By krisholifWe stayed at Villa Mayurana for 2 nights and it was beyond our expectations. The colonial style architecture, large pool and jacuzzi on top of a hill amidst nature (peacocks and birds) was just the relaxing holiday we wanted. We were also given the cinnamon experience where the staff taught us the process of making cinnamon. Special thank you to Mr.Buddhika and the staff for making our stay memorable. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to exploring rest of the Edwards Collection.

Amazing place to stay!
Reviewed By Rusnė DAmazing place to stay! We booked a room with an amazing sea view and it was just the best to wake up to it every morning. Whole place is very stylish, there are many spaces you can relax and chill. The breakfast was very good - you can choose from a few different options and all of them are just beyond delicious. Great thing that you can get lunch and dinner there also, it will be made specially for you! The owners and working staff are very friendly and helpful.

We booked for 2 nights through booking.com. once we arrived at the property we didn't like the place. Negative vibe! Bed sheet was dirty, used towel in the washroom, no proper check in. Since there is no phone in the room, no reception and no staff in the hotel i sent a direct message to their Instagram page to inform that i would like to check out I waited for a while but i got no response. We had to leave to find another place to stay. She came once we were in about to leave and started to shout. Since my bank account details was provided i thought they could take the fees from my account. She called me a theif. I got hurt mentally and emotionally by the nuga house, this situation was a big shock for me. I wanted to take more photos but the owner didn't allow me.

Reviewed By Alena KIt’s a wonderful place! The hosts are really nice and welcoming. Helped me with all printing and sending documents i needed. Rooms are really spacious and beds are very comfortable. Bathroom was also well kept. The food was the most tasty, then any other place around and also more affordable. Pool is clean and very nicely surrounded by the trees. You don’t need tuktuk to go to the beach it’s only 5 minutes walk. I really recommend this place and very appreciated to the team for all warmth and good service i had here!
