For anyone who really likes whiskey this is a place you must visit, it,s in a small village in Switzerland but has a great selection of Whiskeys, more than some bars 3 times it's size. Gunter is the owner and makes you feel really welcome and has a great knowledge of Whiskey and if you wish to visit the museum phone before hand to arrange, also check to see when he is open, normally only Friday/Saturday evening from 21.00 but also thursday at the minute. I really enjoyed my time here and tried quite a few of his selection and look forward to when i can visit again. If you like whiskey you will not be disappointed and will have a great night.
Oh if you want beer go somewhere else !!

300km plus of traffic free tarmac through wonderful scenery - Easy cycling setting off from Malles towards Merano, passing beautiful little alpine villages and row upon row of apple trees'. Quite popular, but never too busy, and an absolutely delightful way to travel and take in this fabulous area.

Quaint and serene fortified town in the far northwest of Sudtirol, close to Switzerland and Austria. Nice shops, good for strolling, pleasant cafes, which make you feel you have travelled back 1,000 years. This is quite out of the way from anything, so I would budget at least an entire day to spend in the local region. It is full of tourists who know of it regionally. It is off the beaten track for North American tourists. The drive around this region is spectacular.

Looking at the map and planning the next few days it would have been very easy to skip. But you don't guess how cool this place is until you actually see it. Unfortunately, the ski area had closed literally the day before because of unseasonable heat. It was 4C at the base of the ski area. We still took the tram up to see the glacier and it was very pretty. The road is an absolute blast to ride. Bicycles and motorcycles everywhere. And some camper vans. Don't miss it.

My husband and I came to this heavenly spa after skiing. Our hotel arranged for us to have a discount off the after 4:30 entry, which was nice.
We had plenty of time to explore all the many pools, baths, saunas and steam rooms durning our stay. We began with the Roman baths.
I just love antiquity, so I loved the signs that explained that people have been coming to these hot Springs since long before the Romans. It was called Aquea Bormiae, as the spring was dedicated to a local god, Bormi (or something)
There are many signs in Italian and English throughout the large complex which which explain and inspire relaxation.
We enjoyed citrus scented steam room, the lavender scented dry sauna and the many private hot tub rooms.
Our favorite room was the Garabaldi Waterfalls, where the medicinal water pours in such a way to offer you a vigorous massage.
The facilities are clean and quite modern. It looks like the Lavender Sauna has all new woodwork inside. I loved the selection of deluxe lotions in the shower area and the hairdryers are top notch! I came out a new woman!

I expected just another castle but found this one was well preserved and had the most impressive collection of armor I have seen. The guide was good and answered questions and spoke English. Tour was about an hour long. The castle is privately owned by a well known Austrian family so parts are closed off. Recommended!

Consigliamo di fare la bellissima passeggiata che poco fuori il centro abitato nei pressi del camping si raggiunge la chiesetta delle tre fontane sacre.
