If you travel to Georgia you must visit this place. I'm so happy we stayed here and had the chance to meet this generous unique family. The house is beautiful, you'll have it all to yourself and everything you need. Dinner and breakfast was delicious - don't miss out. They make their own wine, chacha, vodka and spoil their guests with it, so you'll have a good night sleep :) This is one of a kind experience, and one of the best we had. Big thanks to Beka, his amazing parents and sister ❤ (And the cat and the dogs ????)

I did an organic wine tour with the company 'Into the Caucasus' while in Georgia. Visiting Vellino wines and meeting the owner, Beka Jimsheladze, was not only the absolute highlight of the day, but was also one of the highlights of my trip to Georgia. So many tours are like museum audio-guides. You press the number and get the spiel. The fascinating commentary you will get from Beka could not be more different. He is truly passionate about what he does and his passion shines through. He makes his wines using the traditional Geogian methods and you will learn all about this and see some of the traditional equipment used to make the wine. He will then sit down personally and taste the wines with you. His wines are exquisite and the personal touch he gives the tour makes you feel like you are sitting with an old friend enjoying fabulous food, wine and conversation. I will definitely return on my next trip to Georgia. I could not rate this experience more highly!

My spouse and I, toured the region of Kakheti, Georgia, with Giorgi from Gio's Wine Cellar in Sighnaghi. We started the tour from Sighnaghi with his 4WD. He took us to all the main monasteries, wineries, and pretty much everywhere we wanted. He speaks English, EXTREMELY nice and very informative. He waited for us when we wanted to take some extra time and even gave us really good nuts to feast on during the ride :). We finished the day at his family wine cellar (to our request) where he showed us the wine making process up close (it was amazing!), a thing you won't able to do in the big industrial wineries. He showed us all the different types of wine and chacha (their local Vodka) and tasted every single type. Everything was delicious and really special. We also bought a bottle of special chacha his family produces (unique experience!). Moreover, the next day he drove us to our next location, and brought us a present, a bottle of his family dry red wine we liked so much. The cost of the tour and the drive next morning are really fair, and we got from him so much more than what we have expected. In conclusion, We highly recommend Giorgi as your tour guide and as a local friend to hang out with :) Information detailes: E mail [email protected] Address Sighnaghi, Baratashvili str 3 Phone number : Giorgi +995555230254 Lali +995593637736
