NOTE: Finding this spot is not easy. It is worth entering earlier on the company's business site. There you will find a map that will easily lead the taxi driver to the destination. The building stands on a short street, filled with brick buildings, additionally secured by high walls with barbed wire at the top. Such a small fortress with an intercom protected by iron bars and an iron, armoured gate. However, it is well known that Guayaquil is not a safe city, so such safeguards should not come as a surprise. En suite in which we stayed overnight was not too big and filled up with too many furniture (beds for 3 people). The floor was not very clean. Equipment: TV, electric kettle, slightly worn fridge and black iron door allowing you to feel super secure. The bathroom was bright and clean. The very nice and accommodating owner allows you to forget about the shortcomings of this place. Considering the conditions, the US$29 we paid for one night for two seems high to me. PS. The son of the owner - Fabrizio - equally nice and accommodating can take you to the airport for the US $ 5. Also, he is a mine of info about Ecuador. Use it. He has just opened a Chimichurry Restaurante & Grill eatery very close to his mother's bedroom.

The place is great to look around the Ruta del Sol o Ruta del Spondylus. Family and pet friendly. Swimming pool. Close to the beach and newly opened Malecon de Ballenita. Staff always helpful and smiling. Breakfast was plenty, varied and tasty. We were treated with pan de muerto and colada morada (traditional food on Dead's Day).I will surely come back.
