Maribor (pronounced [ˈmaːɾibɔɾ] ( listen), German: Marburg an der Drau) is the second-largest city in Slovenia with 94,876 inhabitants as of 1 January 2017. It is also the largest city of the traditional region of Lower Styria and the seat of the City Municipality of Maribor.

Stuk is one of the most known concert places in region, established in year 1985. Bar is center of student campus. During all year the are more than 100 activities and events held at Stuk. Maribor Cathedral Bell Tower

The cathedral bell tower has In the bell tower a fire watch was organized until 1933. There was a little apartment at the top of the tower. The ECOC has in 2012, together with the Maribor Regional Museum, set up a museum collection ''The Guardroom on the tower'', which is easily accessible by climbing 162 steps. At the top of the tower is also an outdoor viewing platform, from where the old town and surroundings can be seen.

Vetrinjski dvor

Vetrinjski dvor (Vetrinje Mansion) is a multifunctional venue, managed by Narodni dom Maribor and located in a renovated mansion in the historical centre of Maribor. It offers a varied set of spaces to independent creators, artistic projects, festivals, and other cultural initiatives. In 2017, the Art club & cafe Wetrinsky was added into the mansion premises, running a wide-ranging programme from live concerts to dance sessions - not to mention a selection of beers and nice coffee.

If you want to go in the center beetwen 1o and 14 clock with car dont. Live the car near or go with the bus. The monument in beautiful and in the summer you can sit with coffe and read our history.

Maribor is a well known turistic place, with a nice Old city centre with old cherches and lovely streets with authentic small shops. There is also a good place to taste the local wines that frankly speaking better than some of french wines. For the winter lovers in the city outskirts you can find middle size ski resort. To sumup Maribor is a good place for winter and sumner visit for 2-3 days.

one of the most picturesque points in Maribor. There is a wine bar in the tower, with tables and chairs right on th river bank. The iron bridge nearby is one of the most interested in town as well.
