The Kansai region (関西地方, Kansai-chihō) or the Kinki region (近畿地方, Kinki-chihō) lies in the southern-central region of Japan's main island Honshū. This place is great! Kids under high school age are free. Adults 400 yen. We spent 1.5 hours there although we probably could've stayed longer we're it not for a tight schedule. Two of the four floors are hands on. Once you pay, they usher you up to the fourth floor and you work your way down. Plenty of benches here and there for tired adults.
