Secrets of Underground Odessa Museum

In the museum you will see the anti-nuclear bunker, walk through the waterflood part, visit the wild catacombs. For history fans - a great feast of history, great guide Igor with outstanding English level. Different stories about miners, kidnappers, soldiers, prisoners, builders, no senses area, alcohol tasting, possible venue for unplugged concerts, great overall experience, stylish decor everywhere, easy to get lost, unique piece of history camouflaged in a garage!

An extraordinary collection of Ukrainian, Polish and German graves, including the final resting places of several notable figures including Ivan Franko. A beautiful and calm place to walk and soak up the atmosphere. Stop at the general store opposite the main gate (behind the flower shop) for drinks on your way in.

Old Soviet civil and military aircrafts. Soviet/Russians Helicopters and Fighters, also passenger aircraft Designed by Soviet Design Bureau in Kiev by famous Russian aircraft designer - Oleg Antonov, who was born in Russia and was native Russian. The elite of the Russian and Soviet aviation engineering school! Kiev is an old Russian city, until 1917 it was a Russian provincial city in the Kiev province of the Russian Empire. In the 20th century, famous Russian aircraft designers - Igor Sikorsky, Sergey Korolev, lived and worked in Russian Kiev. Igor Sikorsky created the famous bombers "Russian Knight" and "Ilya Muromets". The successes of Russian and then Soviet aviation were possible thanks to the strong Engineering School which was created by the famous Russian scientists Zhukovsky and Chaplygin and the first aircraft creator in Russia and the World - Rear-Admiral of Russia Alexander Mozhayskiy.This museum is based on the former military airfield of the Soviet Kiev Higher Military Aviation Engineering Institute, which graduated aircraft's engineers for the Air force of the USSR.

passing by there regularly - never stopped - because of this difficult time we had the pleasure on sunday morning to be the only visitors - and this was a real great experience - the museum is very well organised, shows a lot of city history, as an old Habsburg town, and offers as final a nice beer tasting with very nice bar tender ! Just to recommend !
