Ballynoe Stone Circle

Reviewed By annieJB1976 - Belfast, United Kingdom

A lovely place to visit. The walk to the actually stones is just lovely. A little quiet hedge covered lane way with fairy doors and other little things left along the hedgerows. The stones themselves have a peaceful quietness around them and lovely just to sit on one and reflect in peace.

This monument was especially poignant since the first victim's name was the father of our tour guide that morning.

Free Derry Corner

Reviewed By vince23 - Naro, Italy

We are talking about a place not in Africa nor in South America, we are talking about a place in Europe where a certain kind of people couldn't vote nor to have a job. This place is called Derry (someone goes on calling it Londonderry) and is situated in the North of Ireland. If you go there, visit it and you will realize how liberty and rights can established and defended.

Omagh Memorial Garden

Reviewed By markusTyrone

They have done this really well and whilst one does not like to dwell on senseless destruction the story of the Omagh bomb should not be forgotten. It is a timely reminder that when politics and the middle ground fail chaos from the margins can inflict obscene hurt and gross pain on innocent human beings.
