Definitely would stay again!

I have to say, our stay was absolutely exceptional. We were greeted by a smile from Maggie and Yasmine on our arrival to the front desk. We got into a conversation with Maggie about how it was mine and my partners anniversary and out of a good will gesture she upgraded us to a nicer room! We then went to the bar where the cocktails where amazing, good atmosphere and great staff, especially Patrick and Brian! Breakfast was exceptional, with lots of variety. Definitely would stay here again in the future! Thanks for a great experience! Aaron.

Helpful, Kind & Considerate Front Desk Folks

I had the joy of working with Ruta, Thomasina, and Rachel with regards to my boarding pass, and they spent a long time helping. They went out of their way to make sure I would get the proper booking needed from Belfast to London. They helped other customers in-between my travel woes, and they were lovely with each person and situation. Our room was on the 7th Floor facing The Crown, and it was clean and comfortable. As we are in the throws of a pandemic, I felt the entire place did a terrific job.

Brilliant city centre location made for a brilliant stay!

This hotel was part of a package deal for a Belfast city break and we ended up being really impressed! We arrived before 11am and could leave our baggage with no bother - meaning we could explore without luggage! The city centre location is fantastic! Breakfast was pretty good with good quality hot options. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The little lounge area was nice too. We were able to leave our luggage again before our evening flight. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room wasn't serviced on the Sunday - not sure why but when we asked for more tea and coffee it was sorted immediately. We would definitely stay here and in another Maldron again.

Not a relaxing stay

Reviewed By Alicea M

Accidentally booked my one night stay twice. It was agreed with the hotel that a cancellation of one booking would be allowed however I was still charged, a week later learnt my refund hadn't yet been issued but would be as of now. I also attempted to change dates last minute (the day before) but request ignored via email and was classed as a no show instead so charged a second time. Goodwill gesture two days later when I saw that my bank account was empty and just in time for the bank holiday so i rang the hotel, was to offer me a different date for a one night stay but if I didn't take it I'd lose my money as it had already been taken. Days of phonecalls later I was told no further help could be offered as I had agreed to the cancellation policy when booking online. Kept explaining that I hadn't cancelled and if I had been told that the date couldn't be changed I would of gone to the hotel as originally planned so I at least would have something so to speak for the money paid. I live only a short distance away and this was a going to be a treat of a night away from the house to take advantage of a limited time promo offer and I said from the start of trying to amend my stay that I'll happily forfeit that offer if it helped. So now we have a night booked and really not looking forward to

Warm and friendly staff

After spending a long day travelling I couldn’t wait to get my head down. I was checked in by Megan on reception, she really lifted my spirits with a warm and friendly welcome! She even took 5 minutes out to give me some advise on some nice walking routes which was a nice touch. After spending 3 days at the hotel, it’s clear that the team are working hard to mention standards. My room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. I didn’t eat at the hotel sadly but the menus looks fantastic. Will definitely be back!

Nice hotel in a nice location

Reviewed By RabePaul

After many travels to European cities, we've concluded that a major consideration for lodging is being close to the transport hub. This place, being just a few blocks from the Translink Bus Terminal, met our needs. Since we were driving into Derry but taking the bus out, we enjoyed a good compromise of a car-friendly accommodation close to the terminal. It was also good lodging in a nice location to enjoy the city itself. Our room had phone, full bath (nice feature in European lodging), kettle, iron & board, and TV with 27 channels. It was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Garage parking is limited but free, and free wifi is available throughout the hotel. Staff was efficient & welcoming. Being within the walled city, innumerable services were nearby. Being "designed" centuries ago, the streets of Derry can be difficult for auto travel. I consider it almost miraculous that, while driving into the city, we found this place after getting thoroughly confused. I can only suggest following the highway signs for "Central Derry," then just keep going up the hill until you see the war memorial. When you're there, the Malduron should be within view.

Say goodbye to the traditional hotel model! We believe that travellers deserve better than £25 buffet breakfasts, extortionate laundry prices, slow patchy wifi and ‘purple carpeted’ restaurants and bars. At the Flint, we provide beautifully designed rooms and the best beds. Plain and simple.
