Reviewed By danielcopattiMuy lejos de lo que parecía en las fotos... Se supone que alquilamos un estudio con vistas que permite hasta 4 personas... Por suerte sólo éramos una pareja, ya que una de las camas que ofrecen está sobre el techo del baño en un espacio prohibido para claustrofobicos. Por otro lado la única vista que teníamos era de una mínima porción de la Laguna de José Ignacio entre los árboles. Faltaba limpieza en general y si bien el trato fue cordial faltó resolución de problemas como la pobre señal de wifi. Aunque queda cerca de la Laguna de José Ignacio, no hay ningún lugar donde se pueda ingresar a ella. No la recomendaría...

ALOJAMIENTO HASTA 6 PERSONAS:Contamos con verdaderos bungalows de excelente estilo, de 75 m2, ubicados a 1 cuadra de la playa, sumamente confortables, luminosos y de buen aislamiento térmico, equipados para 2 a 7 personas.Cada bungalow cuenta con:- 2 dormitorios, cama somier de 1,60 m. x 2 m., con colchón a resortes, 3 camas sommiers individuales, 1 sofá cama y cómodos placards.– Baño completo con canillas monocomando.– Termotanque eléctrico.- Amplio estar con cocina integrada, bar/barra desayunadora, T.V. LCD 32” con Direct TV., sofá cama y estufa a leña.- Cocina totalmente equipada y amoblada, separada del estar por la barra desayunadora, cuenta con heladera con freezer, microondas, horno convencional a gas con 4 hornallas, bajo mesada, alacenas, cafetera, tostadora eléctrica, vajilla completa, etc.Todos los ambientes cuentan con ventilador de techo.- Deck techado con parrillero y amplia vista al parque que está rodeado de bosque.

The rooms are spacious and each one has a private outdoor sitting area complete with a fireplace grill. It's a great value, super quiet and very relaxing.

Reviewed By LaurakanstrupStayed here for two nights with my boyfriend, and can't name a single thing which could have been done better. The hostel itself is soooo charming, the owner buildt it himself, and his lovely wife, who has great taste, decorated it. The staff is very helpfull, you feel like a part of their little family - we ate dinner with them every night (homemade ravioli and all sorts of meat on their big parilla, really delicious and cheap), had good talks, and were even driven to the busstop, when we left. The room was great, so as the bathroom, we got towels for free. The place is close to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Couldn't be better.

Reviewed By Beatrizn80La verdad fui por primera vez a punta del este y me decepcionó un poco los edificios muy bonitos y modernos pero todo carísimo y súper valorado , las playas no son lo que las fotos muestran la arena es igual que en argentina y el agua también , en relación precio , playas , agua no me tienta veranear ahí

A nice, cosy, cheap stay
Reviewed By Jonathan CPiriapolis is a stunning part of Uruguay, and the Colonial Hotel certainly got the memo. A large, resort style hotel, my room was spacious with its own private bathroom. Sleep quality was good, service was always prompt and efficient, the property has an in-ground pool. Can't comment on breakfast as, unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to enjoy it.
