Reviewed By KitKat336Stayed here for 1 night, on the day i arrived it was raining the staff spare no effort in helping to unload the bags from the transport. The check in process was quick and efficient, my family and I were offered a cup of hot green tea which helped to warm ourselves a little as it was quite cold especially my elderly mother found it a blessing to have a hot cup of tea. We were also offered a welcome drink coupon which we could use later. Room wise was spacious and was tatami style which was something that was particulary enjoyable as the weather was quite cold and made sleeping all the more cozy. Dinner togther with breakfast in a private room which the room we had came with a view of a small zen like garden which made eating the meal more relaxing. Depending on which direction is taken, the hotel is walking distance to the main town area which is a plus, overall had a pleasant stay

Reviewed By shihotan当日に急遽予約しました。 小型犬と子供がいてかつお料理も美味しい宿を探すのは難しいですが、今回貸切風呂もあるエデンさんに決めました。角部屋にしていただけたのもよかったです。 安いお宿なのにお料理2食もついているということで実は不安でしたが 宿の方も親切丁寧で、お料理も夜朝口コミ通りで美味しかったです。朝の飲み物は紅茶とコーヒーが選べます。 レストランでは隣に一組犬連れの方がいましたが、しっかりとしつけられていて吠えたりしなかったので犬嫌いなうちの犬も安心して大人しくしてくれました。 持ち込みは禁止のようですがお風呂前に自販機があるのでお風呂上がりは自販機でお茶をかうことができました。 小さめの缶だったので個人的には少し物足りなかったです。 リーズナブルな旅行がメインの私たちにとってはとってもコスパの良いペンションだったと思います。 また利用させていただきたいです。 ありがとうございました。

夕食は素晴らしいが、ホテルとしての魅力は限りなくゼロに近い
Reviewed By くまさん4989i予約サイトに、格安の宿泊プランが掲載されており、旅行を計画。 80㎡スイートルーム、２食付、二名で26,800円 予約後、その予約サイトでは、他のプラン設定日の宿泊料金が変更されており、頭の中で？マークが点灯、朝食トラブルに対応した宿泊部支配人との会話の中で、料金設定が間違っていたとの感触を得ました。 ホテルは、浅間山を望む大自然の中に建ち、老舗ゴルフ場の付帯施設です。 全館禁煙、喫煙スペースが各階に設置されています。 到着時、出迎えも無く、フロントで声掛けしてやっとスタッフが奥から現れ、荷物運びがセルフと判明する。 チェックイン手続きは、宿泊者一人づつ宿泊カードに記載、ゴルフで使う個人番号カードを受け取る。 その際には、夕食会場の説明が有っただけで、喫煙に関する事や非常口の案内は有りません。 客室への案内も無く、セルフで客室へ。此処ってビジネスホテルでしょうか？ＨＰにはリゾートホテルって記載が有ったけど… 基本客室は、浅間山側とコース側の選択が出来、今回宿泊した客室は、２階と３階に其々１部屋、エレベーターから一番遠い増築された部分の奥ノ院。 変わり映えしない廊下を進み、スイートルームへの期待感や特別感を味わえないまま客室ドアの前に立ち、鍵の開け方の説明が無かったため、開錠に手こずり、やっと客室に入る事が出来ました。 コース側に面した窓は３面も有り、角部屋の為、異なる方向に出窓が１面、此方からは林が望めます。 リビングと寝室の間仕切りが無く、確かに明るく開放感のある部屋ですが、この作り方はJr.スイートですね。 他にも色々と気になる事が ＊バスルーム 一般的なホテルが用いるユニットバス。高級感が全く無い。 シャワーの水圧は高く、あたり場所が悪いと、とても痛い！水量が欲しい。 ＊リネン類 使い込まれた薄くて、ゴワゴワなタオルが一人に１組、ビジネスホテル並み ＊アメニティー 男性用と女性用の化粧品が置いてあるが、何処にでも有りそうな代物。 使い捨ての物は、ビジネスホテル仕様の物ばかり ＊ベッド 固く、クッション性が無い。ベッドパッドが欲しい。掛布団が重たい ＊エアコン コントローラーの電池が切れていました。 ガスヒーターも設置されていますが、取説が見つからない ＊リビング側トイレ 暖房器具が無く、寒くて使えない ＊館内説明書 欲しい情報が掲載されていない ＊冷蔵庫 キャビネットの扉が邪魔をして、十分に開かない 素晴らしい朝焼けは望めましたが、部屋の魅力は感じられません。 レストランは全てホテル棟とは別の建物に有り、一旦外に出る必要が有ります。 これからの季節、十分な防寒が必要ですね。 ただ、食事の度に必ず通るホテル棟防塵室に使用済みゴルフシューズ乾燥機が設置してあり、目線と同じ高さで赤の他人が使用した靴の風景は、甚だ気分が悪い。 夕食はイタリアンフレンチ？ 元々はフレンチシェフが、運営会社の交代の際にイタリアンを作る様にと命じられたそうで、意欲的な美味しいお料理を頂く事が出来ました。 メニューには、サーチャージで対応可能なメインも解りやすい表示がされており、ワインはセラーに入って選択する事が出来、薀蓄を披露出来る心遣いが嬉しいですね。 当日のメニュー変更にも快く対応をしてくださり、感謝します。 変更メニューのカッペリーネのペペロンチーノ、見事な温度コントロールです。機会を見つけ、是非。シェフが得意とするフレンチをお任せで頂きたいですね。 朝食はレストランよりさらに離れたクラブハウス２階レストラン。 到着時に聞いていた開場時間とは異なり、30分も遅い時間が表示されていた。 何度も声を掛けた末、やっとスタッフさんが気付き、厨房と掛け合って貰い、少しの遅れで朝食を頂く事が出来たが、開始時間が遅くなった理由は『ゴルフプレー開始が遅いので遅らせた』と。そんな変更連絡、聞いていません！ 夕食時にアテンドしてくれたスタッフ氏が近くのプレーヤーテーブルを担当するも、当方は視界に入っていても無視を決め込む。 同じ部署内での情報はスムーズなのに、横の連携が出来ていない縦割り組織。 その組織間で上下関係が有るようですね。 朝食内容は、メニューから和食と洋食を選択、サーチャージでアップグレードや、追加料理を頼むことが出来ます。 このトラブルで、宿泊部支配人氏と話す機会が有り、再建の為、新たに三重県有名ホテルから招聘された事が解りました。 朝食を終え、ふとクラブハウスフロントに目をやると、ゴルフ部責任者と思しき方が、カウンターに片肘を付いて業務を行って居るでは有りませんか… 接客業には有るまじき行為、他のスタッフさんを通じ注意を促すと、当方を睨み付け奥の事務所に消えてゆきました。 チェックアウトの精算をと思い、ホテル棟フロントに立ち寄ると『精算はクラブハウスで』と、信じられない言葉が…。昨日は、そんな説明受けていません！ 仕方なしに車に荷物を積み、クラブハウスに向かうと、そこには手厚い布陣でポーターが居るでは有りませんか。 結局、ゴルフ会員権を所有する方向けの施設で、ビジターは足元を見られ、宿泊客はおまけの様な扱いを受ける事が良く解りました。

A very special place run by the most wonderful people
Reviewed By hoppyTNot being a fan of B & B's, it was almost a last resort to take this place due to the exorbitant prices charged by most hotels in Kusatsu. But I was determined we should stay there as it was such a popular tourist destination, particularly by Japanese, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. We booked through Rakuten on the internet and it seemed to be amazing value. 18900 yen for 2 people including dinner and breakfast. We were met by the owner on arrival, a very nice man who spoke some English, but I suspect a whole lot more French, and of course Japanese. The room was compact but very comfortable. Two single beds, a small table and chair and our own toilet and basin in a small room within our room. There was a beautiful view across to a park from one window and to a vegetable garden from the other. It was clean, neat a really comfortable. Sweets and tea were there for us on arrival, and there was a community fridge in the corridor just outside our room for any drinks we chose to bring in ourselves. Our room was on the first floor (or 2nd floor for those of you that consider the ground floor to be level 1) and the baths were in the basement, which meant a walk down 2 flights of stairs. There was a hot bath with the natural hot spring water of Kusatsu, and also a spa bath that could be used until about 10.00 or so at night. Even though the establishment seemed to be almost fully booked, I was alone when I chose to use the bath. It was a wonderfully relaxing experience, and I'm sure helped me having such a deep sleep. Now to the food. The theme was French. The owner it seems as well as being a sommelier specialising in French wine is also an excellent chef specialising in French cuisine. We were told to arrive to dinner on time, and when we found that the owner, and we guess, his wife, cooked and served the food for everyone at the same time, it was obvious why being on time was so important. The menu was carefully printed up with our name and a list of the food we were to enjoy for the evening. It was absolutely wonderful. And I believe the vegetables are also grown by the owners, so all is fresh and seasonal. Breakfast was a choice of Western or Japanese style. We chose Western simply because we wanted to experience the French influence in the cooking style. We were not disappointed. Although we did not experience it first hand, we understand the owner is a man of many talents and often has music nights where he plays both piano and guitar. We also need to thank him for his recommendation to see a local Japanese winery. He carefully drew up a map for us so we could visit when we moved on to our next destination. We found the winery, enjoyed a modest tasting (since we were driving) and bought some bottles of wine to keep us company on the remainder of our trip. The winery was located in a small town that also had many other interesting sights for visitors, one was a special anniversary exhibition of Hokusai's work (a very famous Japanese artist). Neither of which we would have seen had it not been for our gracious host at the Pension Raisin. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling in Kusatsu. Excellent value, outstanding service and the opportunity to meet one very talented person, who has found his niche running a wonderfully personal B & B in what is otherwise a very touristy town. I would love to return there one day.

Delicious handmade Japanese cuisine is served in a small inn. We value health and beauty. You can enjoy beautiful nature outdoors. Owners who have experienced Japanese cuisine for over 30 years are cooking with safe materials. There is a salad bar using local organic vegetables. For vegetarians, there is a detox menu like brown rice dishes. We set up a sports room and a healing room to reset the mind and body of a malfunction in medical equipment.
