Karaa Village is a 3 star guest house serves in the tourism industry located in the heart of Thoddoo Island [North Ari Atoll] Maldives. Administrative atoll is (Alif Alif Atoll). Distance to Male' [the capital city] 67.51 km (41.95 ml) length 1.675 km and width 1.200 km. Population is about 2100 including foreigners. There are important Buddhist ruins in an area of this Island and some key remains were found in 1950s. Thoddoo is famous for its agricultural produce and has got one of the largest share of agricultural sector in the Maldives. A significant proportion of tropical fruits and vegetables at Male'Local Market comes from Thoddoo. The hard working farmers in the Island are also to thank for the steady supply of watermelons that Maldivians enjoy during the Holly month of Ramazan.

Reviewed By 614bambimThis is an amazing guesthouse. The staff go above and beyond. I've stayed at 5 star hotels who's service did not compare to this place. Free snorkeling equipment, drinking water and breakfast are just a few of the amenities that are provided. The a/c in the room worked amazingly. The only thing that I would mention as an FYI is that the beds are very firm but it wouldn't prevent me from staying there again. Perfectly located near restaurants, gift shops, convenient stores and there is an amazing massage place 40 ft from the guesthouse. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and the guesthouse provides you with beach towels. They will provide round-trip transportation to and from the airport for a fee if you ask in advance. They have great communication. When I needed my PCR test at the end of my stay, they contacted the proper people and the medical staff came to the guesthouse to administer the test. They print your results for you and give them to you. I can't say enough good things about this property and their staff.

A Perfect Family Christmas
Reviewed By Beth JI spent four days at Serene Sky Guest house with my parents over Christmas. It was a wonderful experience, Karam and his family went above and beyond for us. After booking I communicated with Karam easily, regarding transfer details and other activities available on the island. When we arrive he was waiting for us with a buggy to take our luggage to the guest house. Once we settled in he organised for us a buggy to show us around the island! The rooms are spacious and clean, with air con, comfy beds & large bathrooms. There is a common area where you can connect with other guests and play pool. The island its self is stunning, one of the most beautiful local islands I have experienced in the Maldives. There is one bikini beach on the far side of the island, which is one of the biggest and most beautiful bikini beaches we have seen during my stay here, it is roughly a 20 min walk away from the guest house, but you can easily hire push bikes or get a lift in a buggy. Along the jetty there is a local beach which is closer to the guest house, which is also very beautiful, be sure to follow the local dress code. You can snorkel just off the beach, it's very diverse and full of wildlife. In the morning the sun rises at the jetty side which is about 2 minutes away from the guest house. It was such a gift to get up and watch the sun rise, from the jetty with a cup of coffee. Be sure to get up at least once and welcome the sun, you certainly won't forget a Maldivian sunrise. Serene sky provide a great breakfast, we opted for a local breakfast mas huni and Roshi with fruit and coffee. But they also will provide a continental style breakfast also. There are only four restaurants on the island, at this time, but we found theres plenty to choose from and loved trying the local food. We fell in love with short eats! Maldivian snacks, which are generally based around coconut, and fish. The guest house also provide dinner for an extra cost. The local people on the island really made this trip for us, most people were very smilely and welcoming and Karam and his family made us feel as if we were apart of their family. It was such a special adventure for us, memories were made on Thodhoo that I will never forget. My favourite Christmas yet!

Reviewed By evgeniya kI really enjoyed staying at the Resten Inn as proof I didn't want to leave and changed my air ticket several times and stayed for some more weeks. It is situated in a peaceful place, near the good cafe Foodland and shops. It's 2 minutes by bicycle to a small beautiful bikini beach and 10 minutes to another big beach. There are 2 kinds of rooms in the Resten Inn : Standard and new one - Deluxe.The high ceiling makes the room spacious.It's clean and cozy. Everything works properly in the bathroom (as there were some problems in the other guest houses in Thoddoo). One of the main advantages of this guest house is the spacious outside area to chill out.The Maldivian breakfast is fresh, tasty and the fruits are perfect every day! The guy who cleans is intelligent, it's perfect every day’s cleaning of the room and outside area. Bicycles and masks are free and go well. Wi-fi works very well. It’s quite a relaxing and calm atmosphere in the guest house. All these things are under good control of the owner Nadeem and his brother. They are always caring and kind for their guests. It's really the key point to meet the good owner. As before I lived in the other guest house in Thoddoo under Russian speaking management, it was terrible experience. Love this place! Highly recommended! Thank you very much!

I was forced to wash the used cup left y day Is it the way hotel treat their guest.i was so shocked that after that incident I was so shocked that after this incident I stopped asking anything Hotel staff exploit our limitations .we can not go out For room cleaning I have to request just like I have to beg in 14 days stay only 2 times cleaning was done not a single time bedsheet was changed Hotel manager ADHU is highly noncooperative he became irritated if we I ask any information 2 time he never qualified for any hotel staff but surprisingly he was hotel manager HE BEHAVED LIKE A DON . THERE IS A SAYING IN INDIA THAT DOG IN HIS HOME THINK HE IS LOIN. BUT TELL ADHU HE IS A DOG NOT A LOIN. EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY IT WAS NOT A HOTEL AND GUEST RELATIONSHIP. ITS LIKE A PRISONER AND JAILER EXPERIENCE WHERE GUEST ARE TREATED AS PRISONER AND HOTEL MANAGER IS LIKE A JAILOR

Palm Garden is on Thoddoo Island and features comfortable accommodations with easy access to Private bikini beach. The private bikini beach is just 5 minutes away. Guests can book fishing trips and scuba diving and lots of other excursions etc. snorkelling and barbecue facilities are available. Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the property. The hotel features 3 air-conditioned rooms equipped with a flat screen TV, mini bar and a wardrobe etc... All the rooms have private bathroom facilities and free toiletries. It takes a 1 hour 15 minutes speedboat ride from Male International Airport to the island and 4 hours in local ferry. Palm Garden is 69 km away from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.

Reviewed By ramisu2018That is just a wonderful place to stay and enjoy, the host such a great person, he took care about us very well from very beginning, help us to arrange transfers from airport and back and took us from port to hotel. That house is in a peaceful place near the beach, cozy, clean and well designed. He organized a meal plan for our vocation, we got every day delicious food, fruits and fresh juices, veriety of fish, lobsters and much more!!! Definitely I will come back with more people. At the end I wish him prosperity!

Pleasant Guest House
Reviewed By Shakil AWe found this to be a small, clean and tidy guest house in tropical surroundings. Asif was a good host. He arranged for the transfers, excursions (infact he joined us on both of the excursions) and clinic appointment for leaving. I have to recommend the sandbank and snorkeling trip. Shariff was also great, looking after all of our daily needs in the guest house. Good breakfast (see pictures). We opted for the Moldavian breakfast which would have been different every day except we really enjoyed the coconut/tuna salad so we requested it again. The only negative thing was that the WiFi was intermittent in our room but I have to say that it was very good in our dining area which was an open area immediately outside our room.
