Kanborani - a home in Maldives for your ultimate delights
Reviewed By royalescapeDon't know where to start ... but wait :) Location: Huraa Island, just 20 minutes by speedboat from Male airport Kanborani - a beach side newly built guest house (or can I say 5 star experience) We had a large movement in July / Aug 2021 of guests for Maldives for quarantine of 15 days and then fly to Saudi Arabia. We have chosen 10 hotels/guest houses in different islands of Maldives, but Kanborani emerged out to be the best, far best from other hotels. Now what made this lovely outfit different: - Mr Abdulla FIRST, the owner - and now my fast friend, and foremost. He was there to guide us how to bring our guests, best rates and also assured good services (as all other hotels had promised) - Booking process was was so smooth with all clarity on e mails with Ms Ramsha for making our bookings so automated as there had been multiple arrivals. - When every guest checked in there had a WOW feeling with regards to cleanliness of rooms, washrooms and all other facilities around - Buffet food was served to our guests with many choices and served with smiles - Last but not least, a farewell beach party was organized an evening before our guests leave with lots of surprises and music arrangements. - Our guests enjoyed game of cricket on sandy beach, went for fishing and an occasional swim at the beach. Maruhabaa to Pearl Sands of Maldives! Pearl Sands of Maldives is cosy resort with personalised service located on the local island of Huraa. Huraa is approximately 30 mins by speedboat from Male International Airport. Pearl Sands offers a private beach with powdery pearl white sand and turquoise blue water where swimwear is allowed. The beach has both sun rise and sun set views! And if you are lucky, you will catch a glimpse of rays, baby black tip sharks, moray eels, pipefish etc. off the breakwaters. All 32 rooms are sea-facing and are approximately 10m from the beach. All rooms are equipped and furnished with air-conditioning; ceiling fan; luxurious mattress, pillows and duvets; ensuite indoor and outdoor rain showers; in-room safe and telephone; hand, face and bath towels; full bathroom amenities; bathrobes; mini-fridge; and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are non-smoking in the room however, since all rooms are with patio/balcony, smoking is allowed on the patio/balcony. The resort also offers free WiFi on the resort grounds and in all rooms. Complimentary scheduled shuttle runs twice a day to the village is also available.

Reviewed By urmiladiaryI loved the time spent here, the staffs are superb caring and supportive. This place is simply beautiful with ample space. I enjoyed the early sunrise view from my room, it was mesmerizing. I recommend it for all types of trips and must say - it's excellent for solo travellers also. Highly suggest visiting Huraa Mangrove which is one of the jewels of Huraa island.

You'll see a side of Maldives that's hidden to resort visitors. I hope that you understand our effort to give the best possible service at affordable prices. Thank you for helping the Maldivian people with this little business opportunity! GOOD NEWS! The garbage area has been cleaned and new dustbins are around in Huraa too. The Huraa Island new water supply system has been finished and we are connected. Stinky water days are over! UPDATE We have a new bikini beach!

Reviewed By fernwehfervorMustaffa is the owner of Beach Heaven and together with his young son Janaan, they do a marvellous job in making sure that you have all your needs taken care of. I visited in last week of November and wanted to go fishing and snorkeling with my parents. Mustaffa and Janaan would come along themselves along with their staff- Samarey and Adroof. They would catch loads of fishes and help us catch some as well. You are welcomed to the place with coconut water and thereupon you can directly approach Mustaffa or Janaan for any need. I recommend the all inclusive package which includes the food. The chefs and servers in the kitchen do a great job in cooking different yummy meals. The fishes caught on your fishing trips are served for dinner. The rooms are clean, neat and tidy and you can request them to be cleaned any time. Beach Heaven is located right on the beach and you can walk over and snorkel any time. Additional snorkelling excursions can be organized by Mustaffa/Janaan for a very nominal price. Mustaffa will join you and show you turtles, sharks and starfishes on such snorkelling trips. Fishing trips are very reasonably priced at $15 per person and you can go on multiple trips per day. Mustaffa is all ears and very generous in giving his time and effort to you and you will remember the hospitality for ever. Since I am vegetarian and would not actually catch fish while my parents would, Mustaffa did not charge me for accompanying them on the boat. . This is highly appreciated and I commend Mustaffa for his understanding and generosity. Upon multiple excursions, he gave me a discount as well, this shows he isnt all about the money but also wants you to enjoy Maldives hospitality without breaking your bank. Various other excursions that are on the menu are Sand Bank picnic, turtle tour, Scuba diving with sting rays, etc. Janaan is also very attentive and hospitable and he got my mom some medicines from the local hospital since she was falling sick. Overall, I highly recommend Beach Heaven Maldives - it is a great way to get a feel for local hospitality at a price much more affordable than the resorts.

Poor accommodation, food enough, nice beach
Reviewed By Darina HWhen deciding for going to this guesthouse you should realize that the term guesthouse means that they don't clean your room, they even don't change the towels and you have to take your own shower gel etc. We booked full board which means you have 3 times a day food enough including bottles of water. You can choose lunch and dinner from several meals in the menu. Breakfast is either continental (toast with beans, egg and mushrooms but no butter or dairy products) or Maldivian. This is because most of the products must be imported from other countries. In the village centre you can find some shops where you can buy some souveniers. There aren't any possibilities of making any trips to other islands. You can use one beach for guests located across the village. The beach is lovely and you can enjoy swimming even if the tide is low. In the sea you can observe colourful fish, rays and baby sharks every day. The public ferry goes to Male twice a day (8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.).
